All interesting arguments. However, the point of my original post was why on earth would a man like Mr. Bajaj want to marry a girl like Prerna? She is not in his league. She exists in a different world.

Why would Mr. Bajaj propose MARRIAGE?

It would make more sense if he proposed a night of sex, which he could use to destroy his enemies. (record it and release it on social media)

I understand Prerna is just collateral damage in Mr. Bajaj's hunger for revenge from the Basus.

That part of the plot makes sense.

What makes zero sense is why Mr. Bajaj will go through marriage? Marriage in the Indian culture is not something only two people do. It involves two families, and lives are intermingled forever.

As per bajaj's character , he does not show any lust still now.. one woman tried to seductive him but he clearly refused . so the night sex option will not go for bajaj character ...
