I definitely agree. Parth is a bit taller than KSG but the way he was simply towering over Bajaj was a good indication that Anurag is not going anywhere without a fight. I'm also glad that Anurag didn't say stupid dialouges just to say them. Honestly, right now the ball is in Bajaj's court. Anurag barely even knows Bajaj minus the bit of research on his part but that doesn't do justice to Bajaj anyhow. I'm really excited to see the TASHAN between the two.

His Height is toh secondary advantage he is having (not even advantage actually , amy be just addition to his personality because Rajeev Khandelwal inspite being short KILLED IT AS SUJAL ) , his main advantage is his Simple Approach towards this whole Confrontation thing . Inspite Bajaj having upper hand in plot , inspite Bajaj having upper hand as a Character ....Without making it Caricaturist He is presenting Anurag so Realistically ....DAMN THIS GUY GENIUS !!!

But Thanks Parth for showing , all you need is confidence and understanding of how to play with character to make it connect to audience and make the character stand TALL .

This!!!! Killing it with simplicity😎

IKR ...Killing It with Simplicity , Making Simplicity so Irresistible, so charming and so ATTRACTIVE ....

The age old lesson ...Keep It Simple ...and that's what Parth is doing ...

You know, after watching the last few episodes, I am coming to the same conclusion. That is to say, I don't think Parth is a great actor by any stretch of the imagination but he is just better in this show. He keeps things simple and sticks to what he knows. I have a LOT of problems with his acting but he is decent as Anurag (when he isn't made to show emotions). KSG ka tou I am not even understanding, I quite liked him in the first episode and have liked many of the things he does. He brings a lot of nuance into a small character but something is definitely missing. I am coming to the realization that he just isn't very good at pulling off ruthless, villainous characters. Which answers the long-standing question of whether he would've been a better ASR. Probably yes, back when he was at the peak of his talent but not after he got into films. Something is dimmed in him and this was the worst possible vehicle for his comeback. Because it's a legitimately complex role with extreme expectations. He should've started off with a standard romance and then ventured into something else. When actors lose touch with acting and don't work on their craft for a long time, their flaws become pronounced. When HC started Bepannaah after the long break, I remember being annoyed at the extra-ness he sometimes pulled. But then, he settled into the character and the rest is history etc. Bajaj is a really interesting character on paper. And if there's any actor who could've done justice to it, it would be KSG but it's just not clicking into place.

I agree with you.. Parth is really impressive and he owned Anurag Basu and made it more popular. Need to give the credit where it due. I can say Parth is one of the finest actors of ITV.

I always felt Parth was a limited actor , his Manik was pretty inconsistent inspite being author backed .so I zero expectation from his Anurag , but He did surprised me as Anurag Basu. Because he added his own charm to it which made me felt that This guys does think as an Actor 😆

Yes he is simply stciking to basics and that part is what amazed me , I'm pretty sure he must have been under pressure knowing season 1 record , plus having KSG in front ...He could have taken approach to bring in swag , or attitude in Anurag to stand Bajaj , but what he does is he takes a being simple route .

KSG honestly is lacking as Bajaj , as you mentioned there is a miss.... He is overtrying it , pressure , expectations I don't know ... may be 3-4 weeks done the lane once he is settle He'll have his own space to perform then ..but right now No ..

But its certainly not the case when one's loss is others gain , Parth's effort and Approach even if simple needs to be Lauded . It takes lot courage for new comer like him to stand and deliver in front of industry biggies .

Oh he is a very limited actor. But he is decent as Anurag Basu minus a few exceptional situations like emotional expressions. His approach to this character is correct, which is why he's coming off as better. Despite KSG, he is sticking to what he usually does and that's working for him. One plus point is his dialogue delivery/diction. Because one gets to hear him clearly, it's not important to be too invested in his limited emotional expressions. KSG's diction has always been meh but it's particularly pronounced in this show thanks to this forced accent or whatever he's doing. To be very honest, I don't think he should've chosen this role as his comeback after such a long break. Ekta shouldn't have opted for him. He is an excellent actor but he's trying way too hard or not trying at all. I am not sure which. It's especially lacking when you compare him to Ronit. Which is pretty strange because KSG was actually really good against Ronit and Shweta themselves in the last season. But in this particular role, he is a miscast. I don't think he's gonna settle down at all. Not everything is meant for everyone. Parth cannot emote well but he is more or less on point in this show.

And I'm glad I waited because this made me more confident of Parth's Talent .

I honestly did not expected him to do SOO WELL in front tof KSG as Mighty Bajaj as Anurag Basu .

But Buoy did he surprised me or what and HOW ....

No faltu attitude , No over-doing to bring Swag ,No fake confidence , No weird dialogue delivery to show Style .... He is just sticking to basics , trusting his body language to ooz out confidence , and ofcource the natural swag that he has presenting it in Sublime ways.

Cheers Parth , this is certainly a new side of your Talent that you showed which has bowled me and taught me that one just need to be honest to the character (how ever it is) to present and just keep things SIMPLE .....

Parth has certainly justified Anurag’s character. His boyish charm is certainly an advantage when it comes to a role like this.....in terms of emoting, I felt he did a better job in his previous show since his character had range....unfortunately the current character does not. His height and impeccable diction are his strong points and as Anurag he is clearly sticking to that to shine through......I don’t find any diff in how he portrayed the character earlier and now

@bold:

I guess that's the point RS made here

That he aint showing any changes just because he is against an experienced actor or that his character doesn't have a strong script or dialogues as compared to Bajaj.

He is just keeping it like Anurag Basu - simple and straight.
