The female characters are sassy, thinkers, and have backbones, (Prerna), commanding, (Mohini) intelligent, movers and shakers, company CEOs, (Nivi) high-achieving, smart political strategists and navigators, (Komo), hold high moral values (Veena), have ability to bounce back and show spunk (Shivani) ability to speak their minds about painful truths (Suman), have the ability to command in a supporting role (Madhuri)
Yet the men are all wimpy.

Anurag is twisting in the wind, with his spine surgically removed by Komo, while Prerna keeps playing with his mind. He is pathetic.

Naveen scurried off with his tail between his legs, Anupam is a henpecked unemployed man of no means; Molloy always bowed down to Mohini's wishes and is now lying in a coma - forgotten by all;
Rajesh was shredded by Komo and he barely uttered a word against her! He remained completely clueless on how to deal with her while she neatly plotted his murder and got rid of him. Dead and gone.
When did Shekar last utter any words of importance to anyone? His wife chews him up everytime he opens his mouth! And Ronit is an absolute loser! He can't find the words to even apologize to Shivi.

Yeah, the women rule in this show! 😉

Men /heros (not just in kzk but in ektaland) have 4 roles.
1. To fall in love (they can be angry young men or abla nari types ala anurag)

2. To get married and not have the sr on time (have hate marriage or forced marriage in short , troublesome marriage)

3. To become the victim of all the plottings and planning by the vamps villains , all of them happen to be their families or old gfs

4. Before the leap , impregnate the heroine , fight with her and separate and after leap, meet her with their kids. Fight some more and ..union . And the cycle continues.

Apart from this if we get to see any other rang, we may be very lucky . 😆 its the females alone who drive the plot.

On the contrary, this show enforces some pretty sexist stereotypes and tropes. While I will accept that they show us a range of women and their abilities across socioeconomic class, background, aspirations and so on, those women are almost always reduced to either an angel or a devil, they're not allowed to be fully fledged, flawed people. And the fact that the men are reduced to either serial abusers like Ronit or Naveen Babu, or saviors like Anurag or wimps like Rajesh and Shekhar all the more reinforces this idea. All around I try not to judge these kinds of shows through feminist lens but i I were to they would seriously fail in that aspect. Being female driven does not equate to feminism and I think that's probably where we would disagree. Your characterization of this show is correct, but ideologically it doesn't hold up as a feminist show. There's not a single ITV broadcast show that I would call feminist. If you'd like content like that I'd suggest web tv shows found on streaming platforms like Netflix India or Amazon Prime.

A show driven by females does not equal to a show highlighting feminism.
