Hey guys , a two shot story , on the revelation of pregnancy !

So here it goes
THE PREGNANT TRUTH part1

Prerna laid at an obtuse angle on the bed , as she made circles on her tummy . She smiled , as she tried feeling the little life growing inside her . It has been a month she has been living in the Basu bari , and now she feels herself to be strong enough to face any problem . She had perfectly countered every cheap trick played on her by the Basu ladies. She was successful in creating an armour around her , in which she could protect her baby . She hadn't told anybody about this. Not till Kamolika lives with her under the same roof . She had been to the police station and there she could find some details about her baba and kakababu's accident . She knew that before the accident they have been to Mr. Chaubey's house , and then the brake failure had resulted into the horrible event . Now as she lived with kamolika , she could certain the fact that that woman can actually stoop to any low level , for getting things in her favour . She was eager to join the dots . But it was almost 9 in the night , and she has been tired of her pregnant condition , accompanied by her trips to the police station and the hospital .

At the dinning table all the members of the family sat eating there dinner except anurag and prerna. Anurag was yet to come over from his busy office schedule and nobody was interested in calling prerna . As soon as anurag entered the house , Mohini called out to him " Onu ! come dinner is ready... she poached him as usual. Anurag nodded "Haan ma! I'll come after I change.. , to which mohini nodded but suddenly she said something which made heads turn around " Call that Prerna also , or she will make a big fuss... she said completely annoyed , as she had already experienced the conclusion of not calling prerna sharma basu for food . She would take the house on her head , and would keep on repeating some sugar coated taunts , that girl was giving them a hard time . kamolika huffed a little , as she rolled her eyes. "RELAX MOM! she almost yelled , as she was annoyed with the past happenings. She had failed n-times in kicking out prerna , lest kill her . anurag had warned her already and he was ready to break any clause and any contract if there was even a scratch on prerna's skin because of her . She had pretended to not know anything , but somewhere she knew that Anurag knew about her reality.But she rather kept herself in delusion .

Anurag moved upstairs as he nodded on his Mom's orders. Anurag was surprised seeing prerna's new side , would be an understatement , he was shell shocked . Period. The way she had counter attacked every taunt , and conspiracy in a fearless manner was commendable . He was very much disappointed with his own self , but now after about a month , it felt like Prerna was searching something . Her revengeful aura , switched often nowdays . as if she was trying to catch him vulnerable . as if she was trying to tell him something . She was more inclined on finding answers rather then just spilling the hurt he had filled her with. What if she finds the truth , he feared , but secretly wished ! Seeing prerna at an arm's distance and still behaving like strangers was slowly making him weak . He no longer wanted to pretend he didn't care , enough of this lonliness. He wanted to confide in her , tell her everything , because slowly , but things were falling in place . He had been working hard at office and he could see opportunities pop up to his favour.

As anurag entered his room , he saw prerna's bracelet lying on the bed . he smiled seeing it , but suddenly he heard weird voices from the washroom. VOMITING ? what ? prerna was vomiting ? anurag panicked as he could easily figure out from the coming voices . He banged the door hard "Prerna , are you alright ? " he asked his brows knitted in worry . all prerna could do was to churn her guts out harder this time earning another yell from anurag. "Did you eat something bad ? he questioned on her silence and on this prerna turned on the tap of water to clean the basin. It has been really hard to veil up this growing sickness. She has been lucky that such incidents hadn't happened in front of everybody . Her vomits were so unperiodic , that she scared that it may spill the truth. "Haan... she yelled back to anurag "I am fine .. she said as her eyes were closed of the tiredness. She had to handle her sickness , and those newly started craving all by herself and this pained her . The man who stood on the other side of the door , the father of her unborn , was still unaware , and she had all the intentions to make him known of this deed. She stepped out of the washroom , to find a panic stricken anurag standing in front of her.

She shrugged her shoulders , as she moved ahead looking for a towel . "I asked you something ! anurag spoke with worry lines on his forehead. "What? prerna rolled her eyes , trying her best to look indifferent . "You have been vomiting , is every thing alright? he again asked her. "Does it matter to you Anurag , huh? she looked at him , as her pupil squinted in anger . "What is the point of showing such concern , when all you are doing since the last month , is just ignoring me ! I am really tired and I want to be at peace for this night ...we will continue this tomorrow... she said crossing her arms on her chest . Anurag lowered his lashes , as he sucked back his tears. This was the worst part of keeping the secret not be able to speak anything . He was forced to stand dumb . "Prerna ... he tried speaking some words , trying to make her feel a little better , but still he preferred to be quiet . Prerna looked up in his chocolate brown eyes , they always told her a different story . After they had met in the hospital , she knew that he cared about her . She knew he loved her , but she could also see how he was trying to push her apart , and this pained a lot. Why is he not ready to share his inner turmoil , was he not confident on her , on their love? Anurag looked at prerna , catching glances , as he could see her cheek prominence glistening , yeah she was glowing . He noticed her hands , they looked chubby more than skinny they used to look a month ago. He didn't move , he wanted to know if anything was wrong with her.
Prerna relaxed her shoulders , as she finally made the decision to break the news to him. She moved towards the door , and locked it . Hearing the locking sound anurag looked up at her , confused. She practiced deep breathing before walking too close to him , and then holding his hands. "Prerna? anurag questioned , but prerna immediately shushed him "Let me speak today , just listen anurag ...come sit here ... she led him to their bed , and made him sit by her side. Anurag's eyes melted . Of all those bitter words they have exchanged till now , one thing could never change-They loved it each other , and they knew it all. Prerna's eyes turned red , as she slowly placed his hands on her tummy , as he released her baited breath turning her lips in a O. Anurag squinted his eyes in confusion , until he saw prerna's eyes looking at him. Her eyes melted in a shade lighter , as she looked up at him with only love. She wanted to forget whatever has happened for this moment , because this wont come again , she thought . Anurag looked up at her , as he too smiled , but seeing her point at her tummy yet again, he got the clue . For a moment he felt chills running down his spine and then it looked he has been transported to heaven . He shook his head in a stammering yes , as he looked directly in her orbes. She too nodded her head in a yes , as tears fell from her eyes. She pressed her lips , making more tears spill , and anurag could only join her in the deed. " Baby...? He asked and she nodded , her face wrinkling into tears. He looked at her for a moment embracing her in a tight hug , constantly kissing her hair . she too hung to his arm , trying to search for the warmth she had cherished , and the lovely part was she did find it .
Anurag drew circles on her back , trying to pacify her crying . Prerna was giving him everything a man wanted in his life . She had loved him like nobody could ever do , she had come back to him trying her best to not leave him alone in this mess , and now she had there baby . He cursed himself for doing so bad to such a pure soul , but he found himself helpless. " I am really bad prerna ... he cried , and prerna could do nothing but nod in a yes. "Yeah you are really bad ...but still I wont leave you... She cried as she looked at him and wiped his tears. "I know something is really wrong , Anurag , but still I would wait for you to tell me ...I know you never stopped loving me... she looked at him , as all he could do was cry harder. "I love you prerna... He buried his face in her neck , as she nodded in a yes. "I know... . she said , with a small smile stretching on her lips.
