Are there only teenagers on this forum? I can't believe that people actually think that love is enough to not get bored of your spouse. Why do love marriages fail then? Getting bored of your spouse doesn't mean you are not in love with them. It means that you are looking for some variety in life. If Anurag and Prerna get married, and Anurag gets bored of her, will Prerna allow him to have some fun outside of marriage? Definitely not, because she's a woman of maan-maryada nonsense. But Komolika is such a lovely personality that Anurag is never going to get bored of her.
Yes, there will be alot of Tashan between Anulika, but that will also keep their marriage lively, and that's why, they will never get bored of each other. And so what Komolika is a narcissist? She does gets alot of attention wherever she goes and she rightfully deserves that. Well, even if that's a problem with her, Anurag can change her to be not so full of herself. He can also make her care about someone other than her, because where the story is going, she's definitely going to fall in love with Anurag.
Being sensitive or emotional is not really a very good trait if you want to survive in this world. Komolika can teach Anurag to be practical in life. I wonder which friend goes to such extent, which Anurag went to to stop Prerna and Naveen's marriage, even ready to get insulted by his own family again and again. I mean, why care so much? It's Prerna's life and her decision. She doesn't even believe you, and was anyway getting married for money.
People who are saying that Anurag and Prerna have the same values at the core of their heart, have themselves proved my point. Having the same values, they can't make each other a better person. Anurag and Komolika can, because they are opposites in true sense. Not just on the surface like Anurag and Prerna.
Anulika has the potential to be an iconic couple. AnuPre will just be a normal couple you see in daily life.
As for people saying that Komolika will never replace Prerna as the female lead, in Ekta's previous show Kasam, Shivani Tomar was replaced again by Kratika because of fans demand and the show's TRP going down. KZK 2 TRP is also not very high and we know that Ekta is a very shrewd businesswoman. Kicking out Erica and making Hina the female lead is not very unlikely if we go by EK's history.
I think the main problem people have with Komolika is that she's a woman, and as audience expects women to be pure and pious in a TV serial, and because she's not, she's hated. Otherwise there is not any difference between Komolika and the MCP heroes we see in Gul shows. The people who are calling Komolika a badtameez and besharam are the same people who drool over Gul heroes.
I'll also like to add that will Prerna ever be able to fit in the Basu family, considering that she's from a middle-class background? How will she interact with the elites? I know people like to ignore such things while watching a show, but it's not so easy to become a bahu of a rich high-class family. Prerna will just end up becoming a maid in the house. Komolika did had a point when she said to Prerna that why she and her sister always have the hots for rich guys.
