Anurag's character so confusing

Anyone would think that Anurag character was in love with Prerna. But all of a sudden he is behaving in a very weird way and now everything needs a start from scratch. Or may be in real life also character like Anurag exist who gets overboard to help a friend and what if the other person mistakes it for love. Only if the three words are said i think one can take it for sure. It's usually actions speak louder than words but in Anurag's case Words should speak louder than action.This guy is so confused LoL.
