It's Friday and we've had a week quite different from what we expected last Friday. I would like to take this moment to say that
- Parth totally rocks a tux.
- Parth plays the role of the caring, good guy to perfection. As he said in a recent tweet this is what Ekta wanted him to play. She wanted the nation (or at least the female half) to fall in love with the good guy rather than the bad guy, as we are prone to do. And she has succeeded. We all love him.
- The writers are messing up with Parths character. We are all confused as to what his views are on love. He went from never having loved anyone and not believing in love to reminiscing about wanting his mom to love his girlfriend. He went from half admiring he loved prerna and asking her to confess her feelings about him to him, to total amnesia. This needs to be sorted next week.
But for me the week belonged to Prerna. Maybe not for many of you. But for me it did.
From her realisation of love and the slow building of her dream. How sweet that dream was. Somehow Anurag's little more than friendship and his care convinced her that he too felt towards her the way she had finally acknowledged she felt towards him.
And then came her disappointment, her anger and frustration all of which she took out on Anurag. In a 23 minute episode it is very difficult to take us through someone journey.
And the conclusion of all that frustration and disappointment came today in her sweet explanation. It's all me Anurag. I am a fool for thinking too much of expecting too much. Her disillusionment and her attempts to explain that disillusionment today were spot on.
And finally Prerna's family. Her biggest weakness. Everything comes back to that. Her family, the problems they face and the struggles she has to undergo is what is causing the most strife right now. It may be Anurag and his family at some point. But right now I feel Suman's frustration. Get a grip, Sharmas! And ask the guy to wear a condom or start taking the pill if you want to be sexually active, Shivani!

- Prerna is gorgeous and it doesn't matter what she wears she totally rocks it. Her wearing that red saree made me totally want to wear sarees!
