Is being dumb a sin?

There has been lot of discussion in the forum from the very advent of this show how Prerna's characterization is very underwhelming and how she is most of the times DUMB.

Sure, I don't find the logic behind her agreeing to marry a total creep. And what's Prerna is doing is probably wrong. I get that all. And I don't want to discuss that. It's been discussed way too many times before.

CVs are writing (I hope they are writing and not just making Erica do stuff randomly according to what they feel at the moment - because that's what her characterisation indicates) Prerna with no consistency and some times lacking common sense as well. Agreed. They are writing her DUMB.

But is being dumb a sin?

Because I have seen a lot of frustrated viewers complain here about how Anurag shouldn't ever have liked Prerna because she is DUMB. People have also expressed opinions about how if Anurag had been their friend they would have suggested him not to date Prerna or whatever it is because she is DUMB.

Not every person has the same proportion of logical sense and intelligence People are dumb. In the sense of their ability to think quick and draw conclusions but that is no reason to not like them.

Do dumb people not deserved to be loved?

Is being dumb a sin?

P. S. I dunno if this makes any sense. But I just wanted to get it out of my system. I just believe every kind of person deserves to be loved.

Being dumb is not a sin,ofcourse,people are different,but ,here the problem is,Prerna is made dumb to suit the script,it is not characterisation,when the plot ends,they are not gonna portray it realistically as a mistake made by a dumb and innocent person,but,they are going to glorify her.period,yes,but for someone to fall in love,u have to have some good qualities,esp especia such deep love,or else some background to the intimacy between two people,here,apart from some random eyelocks and wayward flirting ,nothing solid is happening,the screenplay is too steeped in festival drama that the leads are sidetracked

Honestly, after seeing the plot for quite sometime, I feel it's not Prerna but the entire damn plot is dumb.

Well in real life, of course !

But in a TV show some grey cells would make the lead heroine more likable ? And a sprinkle of spunk wouldnt hurt either !

Honestly speaking it's not her dumbness but it's her feelings. No body will ever wish to put family in trouble.

Pre is doing what a daughter should do and I feel nothing bad.

ofcourse a daughter should think of her family,that is why sh should stay away from the creep and his manipulations,marrying him for a house is actually giving more power to him forever.what guarantee is there that he will stay true to his end of bargain.thats where she is dumb
