What's up with makeup

Have seen Parth in various shows, always loved him. Loving him here too but what have they done with his makeup, too much lipstick , doesn't look natural. Also has he put on weight. I will be happy if they show his natural complexion.
He is acing with his acting though. Hope makeup department improves
