Both actors are good looking n hugely popular for romance in their previous shows, chemistry aaj nahi toh kal dikhegi 😆

I can also see some improvement. Hopefully things will turn better and their chemistry will show up😊

Indian soap heroins are high level weirdo. They act like brain doesn't exist. In Pakistani drama 'Zindagi Gulzar Hain' when kashaf's uncled asked to either get kashaf married with his son, or emty the house. Kashaf and her family prefered to leave the house. There was not even 1 person to help, but they decided to live in rental house with respect than to get married in a family who wronged her mom just because she cannot give them khandan ka waris. Best part was they selected better and respectful life, not materialist things like money, house, jewellery etc. Most amazing part- they didn't send Hero to get them out of it, they themselves dealt with it.

There's a reason people cannot connect with Indian soap.

In Indian dramas, they present shadi as some kind of formality and something without any values nd emotion.. As if there's no life after you complete those shadi fomality. Oh! My freeze is not working and I don't have money to buy another, let's get married with some crazy villian to buy new.

Why can't they live in rental house? Why can't prerna start working to support her family instead of selling herself to Navin? And what's the problem if they ask help from moloy? It's better than selling yourself in the name of shadi.

It would have been better if they would have sold their house and moved somewhere than marrying to this man..

@bold above - well that is why this isn't a reality but a fictional show, Kashish. We have shows involving Icchadhari Nagins, Chudails and Dayans but that doesn't mean they exist right? 😆

Its wrong to blame whole of indian tv. In Erica's previous show, her character was ousted from her house along with her family. She didnt just accept her fate and leave the house, she went to question Dev, fought with ishwari(Dev's mother) over the same.Dev offered to compromise and said it was a mistake. But the character did not give in. She chose her self respect.
Worked hard for 8 yrs and got the house back for her father.

Yes, sonakshi's circumstances n prerna's circumstances were different and the two characters were different but if prerna is supposed to be a strong self respecting woman how does she give in to Naveen's proposal so easily? There is nothing that has been established about prerna's character other than the fact that she is a strong believer of love. We dont know her dreams, aspirations, heck even her bond with her family hasnt been established effectively. All characters in this show are doing OTT acting. Right from mohini to veena. Mohini herself is so unrealistic.
The point is, good content shows are made but do not last. They wind up in a year or two coz they hardly get trps. Ekta's nonsense works because audience demands for drama and enjoys it.

Lol, this concept of marrying for money or to save house or family is shown in many serials. It has become a trend now. Finally, we are so used to it now that we can assume these things coming up specially in ekta's daily soaps😆

Yes fictional and unrealistic but still as audience we should be able to connect ourselves somewhere. Dayans and Icchadari's are just dramatically too much. Lots of such shows are coming up now a days😆

I have not seen Erica's previous show but from what u say, it seems to be a good show. I wish her character was strong as Prerna also. Ekta will keep introducing new tadkas and her show will last for years😆

Krpkab is a unique show. It managed to build a beautiful connect with the audiences. First 100 episodes are a bliss to watch. Definitely give it a watch 😊
If ekta only focusses on the love story and utilises the chemistry between her leads, its going to do wonders for this show. Ppl who are watching this show are mainly parth n Eri's fans and are watching it for them. If the love story is developed properly keeping negativity at bay atleast in inital episodes, the show will do well.

Loved reading all your povs... I wanna add mine...
Guys... I also loved Zindagi gulzar hai...till the end of the soap...kashaf never seeked help from her husband...she handled everything on her own..so much self respect...we can't expect such characters here...yeah I wanted badly to see such characters on tv...who gives more important to self respect...

Many say Lord Rama and Sita maa love is eternal...but you know guys...Seeta ma chooses her self respect than her soul, her love of life Rama... She just said if I loved only Rama in this world, then take me from this world...many say Seeta ma was a meek character but that's not it looks like...reality is she chooses her self respect than her love...she proved her sanity and purity to this whole world...

And regarding sacrifices...you guys think it's stupid but there are girls like prerna who think that by sacrificing ourselves will solve our family issues for one and all...you don't believe my words right...not for money alone be the reason...but few girls marry cox parents wanted them to marry a bad guy...knowingly they ruined their own life with their own hands believing that its for their love for her parents...we girls repeat this mistakes a lot in our country...in rural side...its even worse...girls sacrifice themselves before completing their studies...ive seen many woman who cried their heart out blaming their situations...cox society expect this only...india is not about girls in cities and some big towns...the real victims of these forced marriages are cursing their fate and crying silently even today...its not gonna change even after 2050...this is the harsh reality guys ..

thats y i connect with prerna ...but what bothers me in this soap is parents unaware about this...that's not possible...they are fully into this marriage that they forgot about their financial problems..It's really unbelievable... But instead of glorifying these traits of girls, indian tv soaps should bring more characters like kashaf murtuza... Not only in words but in their actions also, girls should live for their self respect... there should be no compromise with that...

You just pour out your heart and u are correct. Situations will not change for girls even after 2050. Actually, parents never want their daughters to marry to a wrong person but, the thing is that they are in a hurry to marry even before their studies are over. Sometimes, those decisions are not correct. And then society blames the girl only.
