Loved reading all your povs... I wanna add mine...
Guys... I also loved Zindagi gulzar hai...till the end of the soap...kashaf never seeked help from her husband...she handled everything on her own..so much self respect...we can't expect such characters here...yeah I wanted badly to see such characters on tv...who gives more important to self respect...
Many say Lord Rama and Sita maa love is eternal...but you know guys...Seeta ma chooses her self respect than her soul, her love of life Rama... She just said if I loved only Rama in this world, then take me from this world...many say Seeta ma was a meek character but that's not it looks like...reality is she chooses her self respect than her love...she proved her sanity and purity to this whole world...
And regarding sacrifices...you guys think it's stupid but there are girls like prerna who think that by sacrificing ourselves will solve our family issues for one and all...you don't believe my words right...not for money alone be the reason...but few girls marry cox parents wanted them to marry a bad guy...knowingly they ruined their own life with their own hands believing that its for their love for her parents...we girls repeat this mistakes a lot in our country...in rural side...its even worse...girls sacrifice themselves before completing their studies...ive seen many woman who cried their heart out blaming their situations...cox society expect this only...india is not about girls in cities and some big towns...the real victims of these forced marriages are cursing their fate and crying silently even today...its not gonna change even after 2050...this is the harsh reality guys ..
thats y i connect with prerna ...but what bothers me in this soap is parents unaware about this...that's not possible...they are fully into this marriage that they forgot about their financial problems..It's really unbelievable... But instead of glorifying these traits of girls, indian tv soaps should bring more characters like kashaf murtuza... Not only in words but in their actions also, girls should live for their self respect... there should be no compromise with that...
