He kept his hand on her hand, meaning two things. One that he'll be there for her and two to make her realise that he can see the difference, he can see the discomfort in her face (when Naveen touches her). Anu spoke his mind out today, went on to say I've seen him hold you forcibly and I can see the discomfort in your face. He tells her, look at your face, you don't pull away your hand when I place mine but when Naveen does, it's just...and they share an eye contact.
This guys is pleading almost, asking her to trust him. He asks to her to look into his eyes and tell him everything is fine but when she is unable to he concludes something is wrong. He says everyone will help her, her parents, his parents but no, Prerna is not the one to budge!
Everything was fine, but then she pulls her hand away at this statement and he's shocked (kudos to Parth, that looked tugged at my heartstrings). She tells him to not interfere and Anu is upset, tells her I am gonna repent having asked you this with the way you are talking to me. But that doesn't stop him. He begs her to trust him once, asks her what's stopping her from confiding in him when he can help her out of this. To this Prerna says, What help, I need no help, how many time do I have to say that I am marrying him willingly? and she gets up, leaving Anurag with no option but to stop.
He's hurt and she knows she's hurt him. How long will this marriage shit continue, I am already feeling bad for Anu :(
