Anurag and Prerna in the process of helping their friends , are unraveling their own self , they are knowing about each other, understanding and supporting each other . I am sure, Prerna might not have talked or shared her views about love with anyone as much as she is sharing with Anu and same with Anurag, I doubt if he has any friends with whom he had such conversations about love, life and general philosophies in life .
He subtly taunts Prerna saying her that after he drops her home , she can talking to Navin babu in her room with no inhibitions , the taunts were casual yet it hits...and in the same tone says next time if you want to talk to Navin babu, he would put earbuds, he doesn't have to listen to what she is talking, he is more interested in reading and understanding her through her expressions which is why he always observes every action of hers... but off late her words , with regards to navin babu are not in sync with her feelings, because she is clearly hiding something and that hidden something is making him restless , hence the taunts .. he is subconsciously and consciously thinking of her a lot ,,,to the extent he asks her if he misses him ,..and takes a dig, girls like mature mann, and then goes on to think what is there in navin mamu, for prerna to even like ... she has no answers to his questions, encompasses all his queries and digs in silence
right when they were about to part ways for the day, they are brought together ... ... with one handcuff for both .. (yes filmy .. but I love such bits ) destiny? symbolism may be 😳 Prerna is in panic, Anurag holds her hand and gives a look of assurance , , "it's ok everything will be alright... " Prerna calms down , again his actions , holding hand and his unsaid words, with his eyes, defined Anurag, he didn't utter a word, but just his actions and unsaid words were conveyed to her and she is assured n calm now,
In the police station, when Keerti's father threatens Prerna , Anurag basu steps forwards, stops the man to stop talking rude to a ladki and moves Prerna behind him, like a shield he stands before her, he stands between the problem and Prerna which were to befall on her , is this a future hint about him standing up against Navin in the similar way shielding Prerna
He says, that he donno much about love , but if this is her decision he would support her, everyone has right to live their life as they wish, if Kirthi chose to spend her life with her love, then it shd be her decision .. Prerna looks on , she is observing his actions and his words, which probably said for the first time

Now coming to the same scenario with respect to Prerna n Navin.. Anurag said if it's Kirthi's decision he would support her, but he is not supporting Prerna and her decision ... he says everyone has right to live their life on their own terms, but he is irritated, restless and frustrated when prerna is doing so , he says if Kirthi chose love, it's her decision , but with respect to Prerna, he is not able to accept her decision .
What changed between Keerti and Prerna for Anurag, when it comes to Prerna, why is Anurag negating all that he said in support of Keerti, ?? with Keerti , more than his own decision , he is trusting Prerna or rather Prerna's philosophy of love, he is seeing Keerti Rohan from Prerna's perspective ... but when it comes to Prerna, he has no trust that this Prerna would fall in love or opted to get married to someone life Navin just for money ... his trust in her decision to help Kirthi is firm, but his trust when it comes to Prerna saying his choice is Navin, is null, he knows the girl who could struggle with economics to help her father is marrying for money and riches ... he has so many queries ... but no answers, he has the intention to rescue her but how is the question ..
In the jail, once again prerna uses the same line as Anurag regarding chor and blanket ,,, Prerna did this in mooh mein makki bit during puja, he used it on Anu and also she used I won't be to support you in future " , it's endearing how she uses his lines on him ,,, later he observes her happiness for Kirthi Rohan,... when she says when you love someone ... you should be with your love .. to which he darts her with "Do you love him"
