My take : Mr. Bajaj , Komolika

My personal feeling is that in the previous season the main leads were a bit ... spineless ( no offence ) . This made such strong characters such as Mr. Bajaj and Komolika to be well liked . However , Erica and Parth are stars in their own rights . This isn't their debut and definitely not their breakthrough . The receptiveness of the people to mind boggling and senseless things such as pregnancies , marriages , remarriages and senseless , spineless creeps is way less . Especially with social media where TRP can go down within a second .
If Balaji truly wants the audiences to be hooked , they can throw in some separations and villains , but these villains can't become the protagonists . They will always be the antognists .
Ronit Roy had become more popular for his character , keeping this in mind .
I feel , the roles of Mr. Bajaj and Komolika in AnuPres life is to large extent on the audiences acceptance .

Ok I m sorry I don't mean to offend.. and this is not directed at anyone in particular. I just didn't know where to write this..

Ekta did say that Kasautii is all about pain!!

Lovers who will live for each other and not with each other...

Anurag and Prerna was binded by Pain!!

In S1, Komolika was the main vamp... Most of AP's kasautii's was because of her..

1. Her Entry
2. Selling all Basu's property to Bajaj
3. kidnapping and killing Prem
4. Creating fake DNA reports (Sneha)
5. Kidnapping second Prem
And so on
To finally killing Prerna at the end!!!

Prerna never loved Bajaj, she picked him over Anurag as he had supported her every time she was rejected by Anurag. Thats when Anu sacrificed his love and got her to re marry bajaj.. This marriage seperated AP for good.. but still they were still there to support and protect each other..

New Gens like us would hate Saas Bahu drama and Kasauti was not a saas bahu drama... I cant think of any other way that can keep them seperate apart from a triangle story.. unless CVs comes up with a complete different story this time...

But I keep reading everywhere on the forum that today's fans will not accept this or that hence shows won't be as regressive as those times..But where is the proof of that on tv anywhere?which is that crap show which the fans have forced into a progressive and better path? Character assassinations and dumb twists are very different from always being away from each other , being married 4-5 times , more to other people , having children with other partners . The current generation hates love triangles , proof : give a single example of a show where it works . Even acclaimed actors like Drashti Shamsi can't make silsila work , why ? Because people are against adultery .

this generation fans hate love triangles

fans accept separation or any thing but not marriages which we use to see in season 1

in season 1 bajaj character become soo popular that fans accept bajaj with prena

That's exactly what I think . Before when Ekta killed Mihir , seeing the people's reaction she had t boring him back . Similarly , now seeing people reactions against butchering parch and Erica's character to will have a negative impact .

This is soo true... I think ppl nowadays dont watch series because of the story track or phases.. they watch it because they like the chemistry between the leads.. I do read spoilers for other shows and they totally crack me up!

I dont follow any shows apart KZK because its the phases and how they deal with it that appeals to me..

Its shocking to see or read about who is the TRP toppers and who won what appreciations!! Totally unbelievable...

Yes , Kasautii is about pain . However , have you seen a single show where a love triangle works ? People hate it nowadays . The thing was that script revolved around Komolika . I mean , she started it . AP fell in love in the first 10 episodes , Komolika entered by 15 . She built it up . We didn't see them falling in love . Here , we do . I see anurags and Prernas relationship grow with each episode . They are strangers w, although they know each for 10 years . We are going to see them fall in love , strengthen their relationship . I don't want them to fall in love with someone else , i want them to stay strong I for each other
