I don't know, but I'm I the only viewer that is highly disappointed with the characterization of Prerna. I mean, Come on we are living in todays generation where woman are less shy in fighting for their rights and where equality exists, we are not like the 1st season, a decade or more ago, where it was cool to show female leads as Bechari ablanari types. Things has changed and as a viewer I am extremely disappointed.

Don't get me wrong, there are good things to the show. I mean the cast is wonderful. But i wish the story line would more me of today's time. Wish they adapt the story to todays day of age!

What are your thoughts guys? Just an intro, im Zaara.

You are not the only one. Prerna's characterisation is very poor. They are so confused playing around with different shades she has that they are not able to show even one side of her properly. She is one minute somewhat strong headed girl and then the other she goes to become this bechari ladki. Apne kismat se maari. One of the weakest point of her would be accepting that creep's proposal.

They are rushing through the story, and the characterization of Prerna is poor and weekly presented. There are so many shades to a person, but they've shown none clearly in her case...very abruptly jumping to a story that could have waited a while. There was need of giving more episodes for the audience to connect to these characters. This reboot has come a decade later, not everyone in the audience has seen the last season and if many have, not a lot of us remember these characters per se.

i just hope things change with time...this abla naari behaviour of prerna irks me...but im just gonna enjoy the show without thinking too much cuz i totally love anupre 😳

Honestly even I m disappointed with this track .. same ghisa-pita pita plot.. Moloy is out of town, only Prerna getting to know about notice paper , her agreeing to marriage, her thinking family would not allow her to take this drastic step hence lying to them n eventually family believing what she is speaking is true 😳

All EK could think of this only to make AP closer ? ??

Prerna is 21st century girl, she thinks logically. She could have informed Anu about his mother's proposal . He is always there to help her !

I really wanted to smack Prerna of the precap. I was really hoping for fireworks, when I heard her say that she should have stopped Naveen's advances right at the first instance..instead of letting it go

I thought she will give him a solid chaataaa and tear Mohini apart as well..and probably even showcasing herself as a strong support system that she is capable of taking care of her family, without compromising on her self respect or selling out.

Instead she is this stupid mahaanta ki murti who accepts such shizz! OMG

Then I forgot that it is an Ekta show..where the guy has to be the saviour aka Anurag and the girl has to be pretty darn bechaari !🤓 Not Ekta's fault, considering we shouldnt be expecting progressive stuff from her in the first place..

Ive got my popcorns ready though😆

It is quite early to say hopefully she shows more change later in the show by standing up for herself and her rights

I expected Ekta to potray her characters very vaguely. One moment they are strong headed and the next they are willing to jump off a cliff for their loved ones without thinking. So I wasn't disappointed as such.

She first judges the liking of the audience and then spices up to add the drama element in excess. 😆

But its high time Prerna tells someone the truth. Even telling Anjali the truth would do. 😛
