A question for those who watched KZK1-- was the romance between Anu-Prerna as subtly built up as in the present version?

Well,i guess it depends on how you look at it.The depth or time given to character development these days was not something much explored in ITV back then and Ekta specializes in being OTT in everything. For that time and context, romance between Anu-Prerna was built quite subtely: they became friends and fell in love. In fact, from one perspective, KZK 2 seems to be more dramatic like Prerna sacrificing her happiness for her family's already, Anu to the rescue and what not. It wasn't anything like that in the previous one. They bunped into each other first, chose to hang out as time passed by and then fell in love.

Interestingly, people are busy finding differences from the first installment but I somehow see the core characterization of all the characters being what they were in KZK.
