Watching The first KZK was like watching a star world show. I remember hearing about something called 'bold and beautiful' There i think the FL Brooke was in love with some guy, but married his father and had the son's son... Then married the son... Then divorced him too to marry the male leads younger brother!! So apparently she married ever guy in that family. Oh that doesn't stop tbere she even had an affair with her daughter's fiance.

So yeah no bold and beautiful this time plz

I have seen the promos and I guess I should not have any hope of AnuPre uniting but this is not an older cast. They are barely 30 and definitely won't agree to be moms and dads unless they play the children and that will be stupid considering the number of children this shows seems to have had.

Only similarity with old KZK will be that AP will never unite. But I dont see multiple marriage and leaps with adult kids.

Those days Ek shows never had competition so anything she threw was watched. But today its not the case. She will show Anurag missing his chance to marry Prerna when he chooses Komolika and later Prerna will lose her chance by marrying Bajaj. Other than that there wont be other marriages.

I understand that we are unable to relate to the very concept of multiple marriages ,n number of divorces , plastic surgeries, betrayal, screwed and complicated relationship however this is the reality somewhere. That somewhere is where we don't belong as we are always taught to believe in the institution of marriage and possibly only ONE marriage AS FAR AS POSSIBLE.

I saw in one of interviews of Ekta Kapoor with Smriti Irani and Karan Johar.I think it was 'we the women'
Someone from the audience asked them that why Ekta makes such OTT dramas in which audience doesn't seem to relate and most of her daily soaps are far from reality .She also asked Smriti Irani if she feels any kind of uneasiness or discomfort portraying such unrealistic characters on television.
Both Ekta and Smriti did not let the lady complete and shut her up .I could clearly sense that they were trying to make a point that if something is uncommon in the society we live then it doesn't mean it doesn't happen anywhere else.

Indrani Mukerjea is a live example.Her association with star India definitely teaches us that from where they take their inspiration while writing stories n script for a television show.

All I can say is that is our reality is completely different than reality of these celebrities and television is a medium for us to know what happens in another world and another society .I said another world as we still feel alienated when it comes to that set up.
We watch movies that involves child labor, jauhar , Sati paratha, rape and what not .that also might not be very common in the society we live but we cannot take away from the fact that it happens for real somewhere and we still see it for awareness and caution.

My sole reason of watching this show is entertainment
As long as it keeps me entertained.. real or unreal .. connected or disconnected .. I will keep my subscription
But the problem is such shows gets boring so soon and that's when I will stop watching !

why everyone expects anurag-prerna union when its clearly mention that they are there for each other but cannot unite...this is the theme..EK has reveal it in her interviews so does SRK...its clearly mention they will not be together...18 yrs back was totally a different era,the viewers didn't even know that they will unite or not and kept watching for union...it happned but only after death...it took them 8 yrs to unite AnuPre but only after death...we felt cheated as this was not what we expected 18 yrs back...2018 era we know that AnuPre are there for each other but never unites...EK mention its a tale of pain...expecting them to unite n get frustrated makes no sense...EK has already hinted so does SRK...

regards to shakti n yrkkh...of course they have surpass 2000 epis but never got into No 1 for yrs now...EK is still ruling the charts with her Naagin Franschise...Bhagyas...they are still ruling the charts in top 5 urban n rural...even when they have competition with KBC..KZK can rule the charts too if executed well

This is the same Ekta who has changed her story infinite number of times.Kasam also had a 'fixed' storyline where Kratika was not supposed to come back and Tanuja was to be played by Shivani.But due to the fans' outrage,KS was brought back.

Therefore even storylines can be altered in this era when social media is dominating every scenario

Even the original Kasauti's storyline was altered when Bajaj's death was cancelled.So storyline and EK shows ka door door tak koi naata nahi hai.

Its the actors coz of whom the shows run and almost everyone is watching for them.

AnuPre had to be separated in KZK 1 not coz they were doomed,starcrossed lovers or coz they were separate railway tracks but coz of Cezanne and Shweta's offscreen tension and issues.I guess everyone knows that.This is why Prerna was paired opp Bajaj for most of the time ans luckily for Ekta,RR and ST shared a really good chemistry.

Shweta and Cezanne were newcomers back then but Parth and Erica are actors with established fanbases.If their pairing clicks with the audience be it online or general and if they garner a huge fanbase then there will be no point in keeping AnuPre apart.Online fanbases have a huge influence nowadays.

The 20 years leap,Shravan-Kasak,Prem-Mukti(I loved these two),Sneha,etc will be unnecessary additions in this show.

Zyada se zyada they will show till kid Sneha's track.

And lets be honest even TRP aunties won't accept all the multiple marriages hogwash no matter how much SRK and Ekta promote the separate railway tracks.Prerna marrying Bajaj twice,Anurag once,Anurag marrying 4 times etc won't go on well with them.Not after the way AnuPre have been promoted as eternal lovers.

Also in the previous season,Prerna did fall for Bajaj for the reasons we know.Nowadays,ITV main no matter how many people come in between the leads,the leads' love remains the same.

Therefore Prerna falling for Bajaj after her and Anurag have been promoted as soulmates seems unlikely to me.

Imagine how the public would have reacted if Ishita and Raman would have fallen in love with other people or if Manav and Archana had married others?

Therefore we cannot predict whats gonna happen next.Anything is possible.Frankly I don't mind AnuPre not getting married and dying together.I am all in for the slowburn and angst.

But marrying different people and acting like pendulums? That would legit butcher the story and characters.

I was young when season 1 was on air so didn't remember the story though after reading about the story on the Wikipedia i realized that the show was crap seriously what the hell was that i hope she doesn't repeat the same story again. Specially marrying 1000 times.

While I agree that there shouldn't be multiple marriages that keep Anu and Prerna separate for the duration of the show, I do think we should acknowledge that there is no shame in a marriage not working out and people getting married and having different families. I'd rather people leave a terrible marriage and find their happiness with someone else than being stuck in a bad marriage. The stigma needs to end.

Looking forward to seeing the story lines progression because I do think it will be different. The biggest turn off previously was the angst of chronic separation.

Hey. I am not exactly watching the show, but somehow ended up watching the first episode of the show, and was curious enough to search out a written update of the second episode. So, yeah, Erica and Parth make a set of good leads here.

Also, I don't exactly know every minute thing about the original KZK, but yeah, I know about it. Multiple marriages, multiple affairs, multiple kids, memory loss, leaps, and blah. I know all this. KZK might've been a classic, but I don't know, that if Ekta plays the same damn story, with new faces, even in this gen, then, she has nothing new to serve, and she is just only eating off from the fame that Parth and Erica are giving her.

No offense to anyone, but if she is still going to show all that dupatta stuff, hero jumping over the fire to save his girl, both doing stunts which are humanly quite not possible, multiple marriages of the leads, a Mr.Bajaj who is quite a gen older than the female lead, and the list goes on, then, I don't think things are going to work for her this time.

In the original KZK age, Anurag had three + one marriages, Prerna had two + one marriages, Mr. Bajaj had two marriages, Aparna had one marriage and an ex, Komolika had two marriages, and like that. If this is what's gonna happen in the show, then why watch all that over again and lose your mind? I think Ekta really needs to change this stuff, because, at some point in the future, it'll all become unbearable with the multiple fandoms fighting with each other (cuz' that's what Kapoor does everytime!) In this forum, and all social media sites. I feel that Kapoor should really stick to one pair this time, and should avoid getting into any trouble by bringing in more pairs, since the social medias are stronger this time, and everyone out here knows what happens on twitter and Insta whenever things don't go in the peoples way.

But yeah, marriages can be multiple, until they are legal and logical. So basically, idc who gets married to whom, till things are logical.

There is a difference of ages between kzk I and kzk 2, so, according to me, there should be a change. For now, I really like Erica and Parth here, but i'm no one's fan tho.

Anyways, just came here out of curiousity. Will probably keep peeking and sneaking into the forum frequently. Again, no offense to anyone. Just wrote out what I felt.
