T he curly-haired teenager who addressed himself as 'hum' in Remix, is back on Sony TV with a reality show. Karan Wahi reassures that it isn't Bigg Boss Season Two. He'll be seen in Mr and Miss Television, one of the reality contests which comes under the umbrella of Sitaare Zameen Par, the channel's month-long reality series. Mr and Miss Television will have six male and six female telly stars being test- ed on their performance skills (singing and dancing) and spontaneity. One of the rounds will even require them to re-dub a pre-recorded clip, to grade them on their creativity. Mr and Miss The other actors/actresses reportedly include Kushal Punjabi, Sanjit Bedi, Swapnil Joshi, Manoj Bohra, Purbi Joshi, Priyanka Bassi, Shilpa Saklani among others. The judges are and Sonali Bendre Madhur Bhandarkar. Wahi is confident of winning the con- test because he's "quite a good dancer, not such a bad singer and a decent actor." Who would he like to see as Miss Television? Wahi laughs off the query saying it doesn't really concern him. "I'm concentrating on myself right now," he says. Some months ago, there were rumours of the actor stepping into movies. Wahi confirms this but adds that things move pretty slow in the film fra- ternity so he'll have to wait a while before anything really happens. Missed calls What about the rumour about refusing a call from director J P Dutta? Wahi is befuddled, "If I didn't take the call, how would I know it was from J P Dutta?" He says that if the director really wanted him, he would have contacted him again. "It's a huge opportunity no doubt," he adds. But he's learnt his les- son because now he takes every single call on his phone. What about his love life. Wahi pleads not guilty saying he's very much single and isn't even looking at a relationship right now because "I'm happy with myself."
