If the big screen stars like Salman Khan and Vivek Oberoi can freely indulge in a midnight and nightmarish verbal cellular war, how can the small screen stars lag behind? This time around the war happened between the two Mihir's, one ex-Mihir Amar Upadhyay and the other, the current Mihir, Ronit Roy of 'Kyoon Ki Saas Bhi Kabhie Bahu Thi'.
To recollect a little of the past, the ex-Mihir Amar had walked out of the serial and his character was bumped off. But producer Ekta Kapoor had to eat humble pie and bring him back on public demand. He had walked out again, this time for good and forever. On both the occasions it was Ekta who had shown him the door. For the first time due to his starry tantrums and the second time when he had refused to go 'gray' - to have white streaks in his jet black hair in tandem with his middle aged character.
Fast forward, he was replaced by the current Mihir, Ronit Roy, who in turn had left no stone unturned to ridicule him time and again by proclaiming from rooftops, "I am the best Mihir, he {Amar} was so artificial". Amar got totally bugged. He first used Salman Khan's tactics to threaten Ronit by making dozens of abusive calls on his cell phone thereby trying to give him a daylight nightmare and then by storming in on the sets last week and literally indulging in brawls and fisticuffs. And the initially amused onlookers were baffled by the duo's almost fight to finish action display.
A similar scenario ensued on the sets of 'Desh Mein Nikla Hoga Chand' when Amar, in the garb of his character Dev, after having replaced the original Dev, Varun Badola, had declared to one and all "I am the best Dev, he {Varun} was so dumb". This time around Varun Badola not only got totally irritated, but also gave Amar a taste of his own bitter medicine.
Post Script : Actresses fighting it out like scorned cats in the past is old hat. Now actors too ! Unbelievable!
