Geetanji--It hurts that kzk has ended-Art

T he vamp isn't happy just being a physiotherapist. We're talking about Gitanjali Tikekar who plays a sports counsellor in Jersey No. 10. The actress, best known for her good-bahu-gone- bad act in Kasauti Zindagi Kay, claims that despite Jersey No. 10 being a good show, there's a lot of stress. "Maybe it's because of the time I spend commuting from Andheri to Kanjurmarg every- day," she says. Best team The actress adds that she's more comfortable with her Karam Apna Apna team which is like family. Tikekar's character has just done a 360-degrees turn from bad to good. Isn't she tired of the twists and turns the plot's been taking? "I never get involved with my characters, so it's no problem," she states. Remind her about Kasauti Zindagi Kay and she gets nostalgic. She may no longer be a part of the cast but insists that she is still hurt that the show has come to an end. "The producers tried so hard to lift it up but I guess it had to wrap up sometime," she sighs. Tikekar is also busy redecorating soon-to-be-hus- band Sikander Kharbanda's house and cribs about how difficult it is to do up a bachelor's pad. The couple, who were former co-stars in Kasauti…, will tie the knot before May. The actress who owns a clothesline plans to open a new outlet in Pune because "locations in Mumbai are just so expensive!"
