Wasna on why Ekta is her idol
Wasna Ahmad aka Dhara Garewal of Kasauti Zindagi Kay considers Ekta Kapoor as her idol. We ask her what makes her do so.
"Whatever I'm today is because of Ekta mam. I have full faith in her and whatever she will do will be the best for me. Dhara has become popular among the audience because of Ekta," says Wasna.
Praising Ekta, she adds, "She has been ruling the television world for more than a decade but that is because she is immensely hardworking. She pampers all newcomers apart from handling each and every serial of hers minutely. For all of us, she is like our mother who takes care of us very much. I'm in FY.BCom so whenever we used to meet in her cabin she used to ask me about my studies but she also scolds me like a good teacher which is very much needed for the growth of any good actor."
The actress, who is completely in awe of the queen of daily soaps, continues, "One day I asked one of the creative heads and was informed that she works around 20 hours daily and takes charge of all her serials. It's amazing how she handles it single-handedly. I hope that one day I will be as famous as her. She has made the careers of so many people - Smriti Irani (Tulsi), Ronit Roy (Mr.Bajaj), Bani (Prachi Desai) and will continue to do so."
Unfortunately, after Jan 14, Wasna will be without work as Kasauti goes off air. We hope that her idol comes to her rescue.
