I dont think Bajaj is dead,
There are two possibilities of the story which i assume, that is
1. aparna is behind all this, she takes up the disguise of prerna and is trying to make life hell for Prerna and most of all Anurag
2.Prerna came to know about Tanisha's truth of Tanisha being Bajaj and Madhavi's daughter and now she wants a revenge from Bajaj of this infidelity, hence she is upto hurting Bajaj and acting as if she lost her memory.
