Prerna asks Anurah why he looks so clueless, and he says nothing is matter. Anurag thinks that this is the doing of Aparna, but she is dead so it cant be her. There can only be one other person who is capable of this,Komolika.At Bajaj house, Kuki is talking about how Anurag is taking advantage of the situation with Prerna. Kasak says not to judge Anurag as he is under a lot of pressure with living in a false world. Kuki retaliates by saying that his intentions is to bring this family to an end. Sneha says not to say such things. Kuki again retaliates by saying that Sneha will always support Anurag because he is her real father, which Bajaj oer hears. Bajaj yells at Kuki for being so insensitive. He also yells at Tushar and Vishakha for being elder and not making Kuki understand, and says that Prerna has always taken care of them.How would they feel if someone told them that Prerna is not their mother. He says he is upset with everyone. In his room, Bajaj thinks about Prerna, and says that her departure from the house has affected the upbringing of the children. All the kids return to the room, and Kuki apologises to Bajaj. Tushar says that since everyone is in a bad mood, they will go out for dinner.

Anurag tells Prerna that she was harsh on kasak and that she shouldnt have said so many things to her.She calls up Kasak and apologises, which Kasak happily accepts.They decide to go out for dinner.

At the restaurant, the Bajaj's bump into Anu and Prerna. Prerna says hello to the children and takes them to her table. Bajaj and Anu exchange some words, and Anu tries to reason with Bajaj about the situation. Bajaj says he understands the situation, and hopes Anurag doesnt take advantage of the situation, otherwise there will be a huge price to pay.

The next morning, Gupta visits Bajaj at his house. He tells him that eventhough Sneha had been taking care of the official work, their stocks and markey value has been deteriorating due to bajaj's sickness.At the Basu house, Prerna is talking to Anu but he is in deep thought remembering what Bajaj just said to him. Sampada walks in and sees them talking and starts laughing. They talk about a memory of some incident in london, which makes them both crack up. Prerna asks many questions about when where why they were in london. Sam says she had come over to talk about a contract. Anu said he does not want to work on it, and asks Sam to take care of it. Prerna asks to read the report, and asks anu some questions. Anu tells her it is for the rights for an international cricket match which BTN always gets. On the other side, Bajaj calls in a board meeting, and tells everyone that they will get the contract. Everyone says they are happy that he is back.

At the office, Prerna says that they will get the contract. She offers to present the proposal to the board.
