Floor-Bored!

Apparently it's impossible to get Kiran Karmarkar on to the dance floor. Ask Karishma Tanna and Urvashi Dholakia!

Rinku Dhawan and Kiran Karmarkar

Rinku Dhawan loves, and is possessive about, her husband Kiran Karmarkar and she made it quite obvious at a recent TV do hosted by Optimystix. Apparently, both Rinku and Kiran were spotted standing at the bar through the evening, even though actresses Karishma Tanna and Urvashi Dholakia tried to drag Kiran to the dance floor. Rinku, who did not like it her husband being tugged at, asked the pretty ladies to stay away from him. Later, Kiran decided to leave the party early, while Rinku burned the dance floor till the party wound up in the wee hours of the morning.

Says a source who was present at the venue, "Rinku was busy drinking and was jealous when she saw his female colleagues making a beeline to dance with her husband. She asked the women to stay away from her husband so these actresses were zapped. She told Karishma to leave her husband alone. She also told Kiran, 'Tell her to leave your hand'."

When contacted Karishma Tanna said, "I approached Kiran, like I was approaching many other friends for a dance. But he refused to come on to the dance floor."

Refusing to comment on the incident Kiran Karmarkar said, "I don't know about this incident but I am too shy to hit the dance floor at parties."

Meanwhile Rinku Dhawan said, "What are you talking about? In fact, I kept pulling my husband to the dance floor but he doesn't like to, nor does he know how to, dance. I think he dances like Rajesh Khanna. So I went and danced with my other friends at the party."
