KZK to end in 4 months!!! article

Ekta Kapoor has it planned ahead. Kasautii Zindagi Kay, the best-selling soap from the house of Balaji will shut shop within the next four months. With Shweta Tiwari not being able to give it time, and others throwing tantrums, the show is best taken off air. It will be replaced by the sequel to Kahiin Toh Hoga.

Balaji, reportedly, is facing a lot of problems with Kasautii Zindagi Kay. The actors and the directors on the show have been giving a tough time to the production house. Most importantly, Shweta Tiwari aka Prerna has not been able to give enough time to the show.

A source from the production house says, "In the next four to five months, the show will be wrapped up. The actors do not report to the sets on time and keep the directors waiting. In turn, no director likes to work for the show. No one, in general, likes to work for the Kasautii… team nowadays."

Shweta Tiwari's date problems are also a big issue. The production house has been too accommodating for too long. "They make-do with cheat shoots using body doubles and duplicates. The real actors are hardly there in the master shots. Shweta's presence is crucial to the show. But if she doesn't get back to normal and resumes shooting, then there is no choice left for us. Shweta has been through a lot in her personal life, her personal crisis and issues with her husband Raja has taken a toll on her career as well. Besides, she has to take care of her daughter too. We don't see her date problems sorting out any soon," our source gives us a clearer picture.

When contacted Doris Dey, the creative head of the show, said, "Nothing has been decided yet. Such in-house problems between producers and actors happen when shooting for a long running daily show. Shweta does have date issues due to her personal problems."
