Salman Khan inaugurated artist Rouble Nagi's 'Rhythm of colours' at Studio Napean Mumbai on 2nd June 2007. When it's Salman, there is bound to be a controversy. So, this time around when Sallu was to inaugurate Rouble Nagi's painting exhibition, 'Rhythm of Colours', on 2nd June, 2007, at Studio Napean Mumbai, the press and onlookers both who had waited for almost more than three hours went fanatic on his arrival. The paintings were what are referred to as the modern art or abstract painting, Rouble Nayi felt it was a reflection of the various phases of life she went through. The event was to inaugurate at 6pm. But, when Salman didn't return until almost 8.30 pm the people gathered grew restless. Rouble also spoke of Salman?s art with lot of appreciation. While Rouble's painting range from 4 lakh to almost about 30 lakh, Salman has sold one of his painting for a hefty sum of rupees one crore. While many art lovers walked in at the event, there were very few from the entertainment fraternity. Manoj Bohra walked in with girlfriend Teejay Sidhu. Ravi Behl walked in much late at about ten. The crowd and media waited for Salman to arrive inspite of the initial heat and sweat and the late downpour. The media was upset with the organizers for calling the cops to control the situation. Studio Napean was a pretty small place to accommodate the 50 odd media people and the large number of Salman fans awaiting him outside the place. While most media decided to boycott the organizers for ill treatment by the police, who were trying to get situation in control, the hosts apologized to the media. The event was all in all a sweaty and a tough time for all the three, Rouble, Media and Sallu, who ultimately spoke to the media.
