Rakshak back with Ekta...
The original Kkavya will play Prem Basu in Balaji's Kasautii...

It's been a year since actor Eijaz Khan replaced the original Kavya, Rakshak Sahani in Balaji and Star Plus's mega show Kkavyanjali. But looks like after a long sabbatical, Rakshak is back with a bang! The actor will now play Prerna and Anurag Basu's son in Kasautii Zindagi Kay after a series of accusations and allegations both Rakshak and producer Ekta Kapoor have decided to bury the hatchet. With news about Rakshak's entry in Kasautii Zindagi Kay as Prem Basu, everything seems to be sorted out between them. "We have got the green signal to develop the story of Kasautii... keeping Rakshak in mind. He has agreed to the role of Prem," reveals one of the many writers of the show.
Rakshak's war with Ekta began when she threw him out of show because of his incapability of putting life into kavya, a character that has always been close to her heart. But, now he is back in the Balaji camp! "He is a strong contender but we still have to take a final call on this," revealed Ekta. The lady dosent deny the fact that Sahani is being considered to play a pivotal part in the daily soap. "I have always respected and admired Ekta for her achievements. I am sure she had valid reasons for replacing me in Kkavyanjali. As a producer she has every right to make decisions that work to her advantage. Its only fair to ensure that an expensive project like Kkavyanjali churns out good results'" analyses Rakshak.
Ask him about the Balaji and the man says, " The day I'd started shooting for Kkavyanjali, I was unaware that I'd be playing the part in Kasautii... But, unfortunately things went awry. After I quit the show, I lost touch with Ekta and the gang. Also, I was and still am very keen on playing the character of Prem in the show. I've been talking to other people in her office but haven't had an official meeting with Ekta. I think once that happens we'll have a clear idea about this possibility."
