no he quit the show himself
and that is because he didnt want his character to age after the leap, he didn't want to look older
its the same reason why cezzane quit kzk also

I won't like to look really old than my age if it was me and have the same age of people working as ur own kids in a drama... 😆

Manoj's decision was right but I miss him!! 😭

i hope he decides to come back cuz of popular demand vikas isnt as half as good as manoj in prem/ud's role
or maybe u never ekta might bring him another serial like kggk or offer him a youngsters role in kzk post leap lol
