Balaji serial Kasturi is becoming by far the most confusing soap till date and not for its thickening plot but due to the constant change in lead actors and actresses.
Sanjit says that he has left the serial as things didn't work out for him at Balaji. "I have left Kasturi as there was no role to play. The story was changed and even the characters have been changed. I liked the earlier script but the present script is not so good."
He says that he had received information from the Balaji House about his departure. "They had given me prior intimation about my departure but as everyone knows how Balaji's trend of sudden changes in the scripts and its characters. So in the end it was a mutual decision."
"Six months before I was very enthusiastic but now I will do selective roles. I have done Kya Hoga..., Kasauti Zindagi Kay but now no serials with Balaji's after this experience of mine," says Bedi disappointedly.
Sanjit will now be working only on one serial – Thodi Si Zameen…, which he says is a welcome relief. "Earlier I was doing four serials as I was the part of Kya Hoga…, Kasauti Zindagi, and Thodi Si Zameen... I had done a small role in Virassat too but now with just one serial its sweet relief as I will be concentrating on my role in Thodi Si... My character, Munna, in the serial is of a rather tapori kind of boy very talkative but now as Uma (Smriti Irani) is in jail because of me I will become much more silent and quiet. There is a definite twist coming up in the story which will affect both Munna and Uma's life," says Sanjit.
