I can relate - I was sick of Othello and Much Ado when I was doing my A Levels, but when I had to reread them for my Shakespeare paper at uni - I fell in love again 😳

My English teacher ruined Romeo and Juliet for me. Romeo was on the rebound and Juliet was a kid who didnt know any better😡 He was also oddly in love with Tess form Tess of the D'Urbervilles😕

How did that work out? I remember reading Tess - she annoyed me, and her lover/husband was so irritating 😡

He used to get so protective of her and when we were supposed to read it out in class he read most of it himself 😕 Everyone in my class hated her. In our essays we completely trashed her character, my teacher was so pissed off 😆 😆

Ohhh, your teacher was in love with her! I thought you said Romeo was in love with her 😆 I couldn't figure out how my teachers never explained that angle to me 😆 😆
