Sanjit Bedi's urge to commune with nature comes to the fore as he gifts himself a sprawling farmhouse on the outskirts of Mumbai

Sanjit Bedi, who plays the lovable tapori, Munna, in Thodi Si Zameen Thoda Aasmaan, has been on a shopping binge. He has laid his hands on a cool 52 acre farmhouse on the Nashik highway and is busy farming the land. He has also built a huge house there and a sitting area near a river which passes through the farm.

Sanjit confirms the news, "Yes, I had bought the place some time back, as I wanted a real farmhouse. Thankfully, I managed to find the right place near the Nashik highway. I go there with my family and friends to chill out whenever I get time off from my schedules. We grow mangoes and teak there. It's a beautiful house and it's so close to Mumbai."

Once he gets talking about the farmhouse, it's impossible to stem his enthusiastic flow. He continues, "There is a lot of greenery at the house. Everywhere you turn, there's lush green. We personally look into the farming and oversee everything. I love farming and the end result is beautiful. We have a manager and their family staying there to take care of everything. This farmhouse is something that I always wanted and now I am so glad that I have it. I with my wife go for long walks, sit near the river, have barbeques… My friends often drop in too."

However, Sanjit is reluctant to reveal the cost of the sprawling house. "I must say that I have been lucky and have done well in life. It is not very expensive," is all he's willing to say.
