Praneeta Sahu was sacked from Kasturi. But now she been offered a role in Kasautii Zindagii Kay as consolation

There is yet another twist in the Kasturi tale, after the sudden exit of newcomer Praneeta Sahu, who was shown the door due to her poor health. Obviously, losing a big show must have broken the heart of aspiring Praneeta.

Apparently, after Tuesday night when Praneeta shot last for Kasturi was not at all happy with the way things turned out for her. But, Ekta had a consolation role for her. Now, Praneeta is going to be seen in Kasautii Zindagi Kay in the post-leap episodes.

"I will be playing one of the pivotal characters in the post generation leap in Kasautii Zindagi Kay. I will be part of the new bunch of characters; and will essay the new generation. Ekta had a chat with me and she is very happy with my potential," says Praneeta. What's the character all about? "I am yet to get the sketch of the character. But, as of now I know that it will be a young and bubbly character," she adds.

Praneeta who hails from Pune, could not cope up with the pressure while shooting for Kasturi. "Being new to this industry I fell ill due to improper eating habits. I have several internal health problems, so I had to opt out of the show. As the lead of the show I had to be present in almost all the frames. That was too taxing."

But, how come she is doing another show? "I could not take the burden of a show entirely on my shoulders as it was too much responsibility. As everyone knows, Shweta plays the lead character in Kasautii... and I am one of the secondary characters. This is not a burden and I can do it without any hassle," Praneeta says.

Are there any more shows that she is planning to do? "Given a good role, I would love to do another serial. But, before that I need to improve my health," Praneeta adds.
