Subha Verma, popularly known as Tanisha of Kasauti Zindagi Kay, has been missing from the show of late. The young actress who had come to Mumbai from her home town Sydney, Australia, wanted to be a famous actress. After a brief struggle, she succeeded in getting a role in the popular daily soap and kick-started her acting career. Her negative role as Tanisha, the girl who steals Bajaj and Prerna's daughter's boyfriend, gained in popularity and became an instant hit. But the young girl's dreams came crashing down when she learnt that she was suffering from a deadly illness. Insiders say that it is possibly a brain tumour but no one has the heart to talk about it.
The young actress had joined the show after the generation leap that happened last year. No one could have imagined that the bubbly and ambitious actress, after gaining popularity and accolades for her performance, would be forced to pack her bags and go back to her home town Sydney permanently. It was her disappearing act that started rumours about her secret illness. Her co-star, who begged anonymity, said, "We've heard that Subha is suffering from…..Actually it's not right to discuss other people's problems in print. It's sad that a twenty-year-old chirpy girl is going through such a terrible illness." Her senior co-stars too have noticed Verma's absence from the show and realised the truth behind her abrupt exit.
Subha's co-stars understand the sensitivity of the issue and hence do not want to talk about her mysterious 'illness.' So in her absence, what happens to her track in the show? "We've shown that Tanisha has been sent to Australia by her parents, as she married her best friend's fianc, resulting in their break-up. Since she is not likely to come back to Mumbai in the near future, we had no other choice but to end her track. Also, she's suffering from serious health problems. She won't be able to shoot for the show. So it was best to end her track," reveals a Balaji person.
The producers of the show do not intend to replace Subha's character in the show Tanisha with anyone else because the story of Kasauti will develop as Tanisha's husband Shravan will now get married to his ex-fiance Kasak Bajaj. The only person who can throw more light on this is Subha Verma herself. But, since the girl is away with her family, all we can do is pray for her health.

Arre there was that Kasak mis-carriage track when Prerna was having amnesia, remember? But then they soon had to replace Pradeep (Shravan at the time) and the track did not work out..

seriously mannn, just WHAT were the teenagers of 1992 thinking??? hey u know my elder cousin sis was a big fan of ronit during that JTN phase.now she is a computer engineer, married, lives in america with her hubby and little son . back then, she used to love the movie and was very much involved in RR, like we all are now. i found out abt her ronit crush much later..once when we were discussing old movies n music. i told her that even i love him now as MV and RB :) she was like- aawwww but in THOSE DAYS..he was like- the most handsome and sweetest. we argued abt whether he looked hotter back then or now!
