Anjali beta…ab toh uth jao. Office ke pehle din hi late pahunchna hai kya?
Anjali: Mom sone do na…..kitne baje hain?
Mom: 9 baj gaye hain
A:9!!!! Mama…pehle kyun nahin uthaya…mujhe 10 baje office pahunchna hai!
Mom:Ek ghante se uthane ki koshish kar rahi hoon..Ab jaldi tayyar ho jaao..mein nashta lagati hoon
(Mom leaves the room just as Anjali's younger brother Ritwik enters)
Ritwik: Anju didi! Ab tak soyi ho? Chalo pehle din hi kaam se nikali jaogi
(shakes his head sagely!)
A:Tu chup kar..teri hi madad kar rahi thi..main nahin hoti toh tera project kabhi khatam nahin hota.
R: Haan..main aapka hamesha abhaari rahunga(with a mischievous grin on his face) Waise agar tum kharatein nahin marti toh main bhi tumhari tarah chain ki neend so pata….
A:Ab teri khair nahin!!
(Picks up a pillow and throws it at him..he ducks just in time and it hits a fellow behind him) who says "Ab maine kya kiya..aate hi marna shuru kiya? Tum na bilkul who KZK ki Prerna ki tarah ho…jise bhi dekho usse marti rehti hai!"

A: Shekhar! Please itni insult mat karo! Tum itni subah yahan kaise?
Shekhar:Lagta hai tum bhool gayi ho ki aaj tumhara office mein pehla din hai..mujhe laga main tumhe mere office jaate waqt tumhe chod doonga..lekin ab…
A:As if I'll forget that!! Tum log sab bahar jaao…main 2 min main tayyar hokar aati hoon.
Shekhar and Ritwik look at each other and laugh out loud!
R: 2 minute????? Hahahahahahaha 2 minute main toh sirf maggi noodle tayyar ho sakte hain
**extremely lame joke I know…but it just fit in!**
(Anjali rolls her eyes and slams the door.)
Dining Room:Shekhar and Ritwik are seated at the table.
R:Shekhar bhaiyya chalo bet lagate hain…Anju didi aadhe ghante se pehle tayyar nahin hogi.
S:Main kya pagal dikhta hoon…main tumhari behen ko tumse bhi acchi tarah se jaanta hoon…woh kabhi bhi jaldi tayyar nahin hoti.
(Anjali standing behind him with arms crossed and angry expression on her face)
A: (Pulls Shekhar's ear) Accha bachoo!! Tumne mujhe Prerna kaha na…do kya ek thapad???
S:Accha baba sorry!(Turns around and starts gaping at Anjali) Wow! Tum party mein ja rahi ho kya?
A:(blushes) Please haan Shekhhar…Ab chalo bhi..
Shekhar gets up to leave..still a bit stunned..
A:Bye mama…
Mom:Arre kuch kha ke toh jaao…
A:Srry Mama…main already bahut late ho chuki hoon
They sit in Shekhar's car,Honda City.
S:Sach mein Anju aaj tum bahut khoobsurat lag rahi ho
A: (turns deep red) Thanks….(hurriedly changes the subject)Zara fast chalao na…is speed se jaayenge toh kal tak nahin pahunchenge.
S:Fast hi toh chala raha hoon
A:(incredulously) Yeh fast hain?? Isse behtar hota ki main bus se hi jaati…dekho bus bhi hamein overtake kar rahi hain!
(He drives slightly faster and they reach soon)
S:Accha Anju mujhe tumhe kuch batana hai..
A:Bolo jaldi…office toh pahunch gaye.
S:Woh….tum gussa toh nahin hogi?
A:Ab main gussa kyun hone lagi? Jaldi bolo na…mujhe late ho raha hai..
Suddenly a girl standing near their car pokes her head in the window and says
"haan jaldi bolo na Shekhar"
The girl is Malvika, Anjali's best friend…she's a lil guy crazy…and a lil mad at times…but very good at heart.
Malvika:Hi Shekhar…nice to see you!
A:Shekhar tum na mujhe shaam ko batao jo bhi batana hai…ab mujhe jaana hai…thks for dropping me…Bye!
(Gives him a quick hug and gets out of the car)
M: (Still staring at Shekhar) Bye Shekhar!!! Have a nice day!
A:Chalo Mallu!(pulls her away)
Shekhar drives off.
A:Tum bhi na Mallu…aate hi Shekhar ke saath flirt karne lagti ho!
Mallu:Puhhleaaseeee…main flirt toh bilkul nahin karti…waise tum jealous ho gayi kya? Tumhe nahin lagta ki tum Shekhar ko lekar thodi jyaada hi possessive ho?
A:No way! Shekhar aur main? Tum aisa soch bhi kaise sakti ho?…Hum sirf bachpan ke "dost" hai….bas…
**wink wink…"dost"**
M:Reallly? Mujhe toh aisa nahin lagta…who tumse kya baat kehne wala tha?Kahin who tumhe propose toh nahin karne wala tha??????????Omigosh!!
A:WHAT??? Tum pagal ho gayi ho! Romance novels padhna band kar pleasee
Aur ab chalo…pehle hi din late pahunchna hai kya?
M:Main toh yahaan kab se tera intezaar kar rahi hoon…tum bhi na! By the way…ur looking really hot! Kis khushi main itna saj savar kar aayi ho?
A:Bas aise hi…boss pe impression jamana hai na!
M:Boss toh koi buddha hoga!
(Both start giggling uncontrollably)
PART 2
Anjali and Malvika have just joined as trainees in an Advertising company. Its their first day at work. All the trainees have assembled in the office. They're all waiting for their boss to arrive.
Anjali's thinking about what Malvika said.
To herself: Kya Shekhar sach much mujhse pyar karta hai? Maine toh kabhi usse is nazar se kabhi dekha nahin…par kya who aisa sochta hai??……..
Malvika: Shekhar ke baare mein soch rahi ho?(asks with a mischievous grin on her face)
A:Haan…..I mean nahin! Main kyun Shekhar ke baare mein sochne lagi? You na hav a vivid imagination!
M: maine toh sirf Shekhar ke aankhon mein tere liye "pyar" dekha hai..(putting on an overly dramatic voice)…Anju…tum nahin jaanti…"dosti" aksar pyar mein badalti hai!
A:Ab yeh dialogue kis film se churaya hai??
M:Pata nahin….har serial mein aisa dialogue aata hi hai!
(both start giggling)
Suddenly they hear the screech of a car's tyres….All the trainees rush to the office window. They see a fantastic sleek Red Ferrari drive into the building parking.
A:This has to be the boss!!
M:Wow!!! What a car!!!
(all trainees r speechless and cant take their eyes away from the window)
The car door swings open…….a tall, handsome guy with drop dead gorgeous looks steps out…..impeccably dressed…wearing a grey pin striped suit…a pair of amazing black tinted shades…
He removes his shades and glances up at the window from where the trainees are gaping at him. Seeing him look at them they all quickly move away from the window.
The dude shakes his head and a half-smile appears on his face….
He makes his way towards the office building.
Back in the building the trainees are awestruck.
M: (in a loud whisper) (in a stunned tone) He's our boss???? He looks sooo young!!
A:Shhhh…he'll hear u!!!(in an equally stunned voice)
Suddenly they hear footsteps just outside their door…They(all trainees) look up with bated breath…..there's pin drop silence as the door swings open………………..
The peon walks in……….All the trainees are most disappointed and the peon wonders why everyone had gathered to see himJ
He carries a glass of water into the boss's cabin.
Then…………..
He steps in. All eyes are on him as he walks into the office. He stops and slowly his eyes move over all the trainees. His gaze stops on Anjali….she feels compelled to say something…
A:Good….Good….Good Morning Sir!
Somehow she manages to say something
A quizzical look comes on his face when he hears this….which is quickly replaced by a mischievous and devilish grin. The grin disappears in a fraction of a second so no one catches it.Now he's got a stern look on his face.
**I'm goin to refer to him as "the dude" for a while now**
The dude:You!(pointing at Anjali) Mere cabin mein jaake mere liye paani lao.
(Pulls up a chair and sits with his back to the entrance)
A: (looks a but scared) Yess Sir (rushes to get it)
When she brings it back to him..
The dude: Ab jaldi bahar jaake mere liye aaj ka akhbar le aao…peon se poocho who tumhe de dega.
A: (now looks petrified…wonders what the heck did she do to get him so angry) yess sir….(leaves the office)
The dude: Ab tum log dhyaan se suno…yeh mera office hain…Mujhe total discipline chahiye…koi late nahin aa sakta…agar kaam office hours mein khatam nahin ho paya toh overtime kaam karna padega…yeh advertising ki duniya hai..Yeh koi 9-5 job nahin hai…Chutti ki koi gunjaish hi nahin hai…Bas work…work and more work! Ab tum logon ko yeh baatein kadvi lagengi lekin successful professionals banne ke liye aise hi kaam karna padta hai…nahin toh tum log safalta ke shikhar par kabhi nahin pahunch paoge! Mujhe hi dekho…itni kam umar mein main yahan sirf mehnat karke hi pahunch paya hoon…
Suddenly someone standing behind him starts clapping……….
PART 3
Recap: "the dude is giving a speech to the trainees when someone suddenly starts clapping behind him"
He quickly turns around with a jerk and is shocked.
The dude: Sirrr…Sirr aap??
Sir: (in a slightly angry tone) Wahh Rishabh kya speech tha
Rishabh: Sir…aap itne jaldi kaise aaye…aap toh dopahar ko aane wale the…
Sir: Meri gairhazari mein tum aisi kartootein karte ho!! Mujhe tumse yeh umeed nahin thi
R: (head bowed..muttters) Sorry Sir…woh main…
Sir walks past him to stand near his cabin door. Rishabh looks up to see Anjali looking daggers at him.
R: Sorry…
Anjali glares at him and walks right past him. Rishabh is amused by her and grins slightly before turning to face the boss.
Sir: Main Rishabh ki taraf se tum sab se apologize karta hoon
R:Nahin sir…main khud….
Sir:Tum chup raho Rishabh…Bahut keh diya tumne…Firstly I would like to welcome all of you'll. Let me introduce myself. I'm Mr. Achyut Roy . The days you will be spending here will form the base of everything you venture into in the field of advertising. As Rishabh said discipline is a must not just in this company but for success in any field. I hope that all of you willingly put in the hours required. I don't know what impression you'll have made of Rishabh but I'd like to say that Rishabh is one of our best employees. Its just been a few years since he's joined the company but he's proved his skill and mettle in each and every project that has been assigned to him. He will be acting as your guide and mentor throughout your training period. Let me introduce to you…Mr. Rishabh Bajaj.
R: Thank you for your kind words Sir…I'd like to apologize for my prank and I hope it will be taken in the right spirit…right guys???
(Yes the trainees say in chorus…except for a certain Ms. Anjali)
Sir: All right then please move to the seminar room where you'll be given your first assignment. Rishabh please come into my cabin.
The Boss's office
Rishabh: Sir I'm really sorry…it was just a prank..sabne mujhe boss samajh hi liya tha so I thought why not play along.
Boss: Its alright Rishabh…par you have to realise that you're a senior employee of this company now. Har waqt hasi mazak nahin chalega.
R: (meekly) Yes sir
Boss: Aur waise tum in kapdon mein bilkul meri tarah dikhte ho…kis khushi mein aaj suit pehen ke aaye ho?
R: Sir aap bhool gaye kya? Aaj mujhe Bharti Enterprises ko presentation dikhana tha..
Boss: Arre haan (picks up a file and distractedly asks) Kya hua uska? Who contract toh hamein kabhi nahin mila…who log toh hamesha Vyom Enterprises ko hi contract award karte hain…
R: True Sir…par is baar hamein who contract mil gaya!
Boss: Kya???(jerks his head up) This is fantastic news!! Keep it up Rishabh..
Ab tum jaake trainees ko pehla assignment samjha do.
R: Sir Yes Sir! (salutes the boss in true army style)
Boss just rolls his eyes and shakes his head as Rishabh leave.
Seminar Hall
All trainees are assembled…buzz in the hall because everyone's excited about their first assignment.
Rishabh: hellooo guys! Aap sab mujhe Rishabh bula sakte hain…'Sir' bulane ki koi zaroorat nahin hai (looks pointedly at Anjali…who just looks away)
I'm here to give you your 1st assignment…This is just to check how fast you can come up with unique ideas…
(Explains to them in detail about what they have to do)
R: Feel free to ask me if you have any doubt..ohh main bhool hi gaya…just a minor detail (grins devilishly)…yeh assignment kal subah tak submit karna hai.
Trainees: kal!!!
R: yup…ab sab kaam pe lag jaao..
(All of them work extremely hard and try to finish the assignment. In no time its time for them to leave.)
As they're leaving Rish comes upto Anjali and says
R: Excuse me….
(But she just ignores him and turns away but Mallu who's hopeless where cute guys are concerned turns to him)
M: Hiiii Rishabh!!!
R: Hey…aapki tareef?
M: Huh?? Tareef??….(mutters to herself) aapko meri tareef karni chahiye..par aap hai ki???
A: (who overhears her mutterings) Idiot!!! He's asking you your name!
Anjali to Rishabh: Yeh Malavika Singh hai aur main Anjali Khanna…aur agar aapki tehkikaat khatam ho gayi ho toh hamein jaana hai!
Drags Malavika away with her who turns around to wave at Rishabh.
Rishabh waves back with a smile.
R to himself: Anjali Khanna….hmmm…accha naam hai.
