Prem-Omi Showdown

Omi is at the window, pondering his next move. Sneha lies unconscious on the bed. Omi remembers some moments with her. He writes her a letter:

"I brought you here with wrong intentions, but your love has changed me. My intentions were to destroy your family to take Yuvi's revenge. Sneha, I can and have lied to you in the past, but right now, the truth is that my love for you is real, and I cannot prove my love wrong by doing bad things to you. I love you Sneha, but I know you will read this letter with only hatred. I know I am your culprit, but please forgive me."

THANK GOD!! I couldn't bear it if he had turned out like monkey boy!!

He leaves the letter on the bed and leaves.

He goes to the lobbey of the hotel, where he sees Prem and Indro standing, waiting for him. Yaaayyy the time has come...

Prem is furious! He walks up to Omi, and his UD tune comes on! God, how I've missed this tune!!

He asks Omi where Sneha is, Omi tells him, and then Prem PUNCHES OMI!!!!!!! Man, ok, so I love Shabbo, and I love Omi for not doing the nasty deed, but if I had to choose between these two, I'd always choose Prem! Besides, my wish has come true - I get to see two very hot guys - Shabbo and MB - fight it out! If only it was a mudfight...*sigh*...

Prem punches him again, drawing blood. Omi tells him he has done nothing wrong - Prem asks "what about breaking Sneha's heart?"

Omi tells him that he is not weak, and proceeds to show him that by punching him back. The two get involved in a punching match, and I swoon in my seat

Then comes a voice to spoil all the fun - "Ruk jao".

It's Rish...

Omi walks up to him and tells him that Sneha is safe. "I am not a disgusting man like your brother, who can ruin a woman's life like he did and live a normal, guilt-free life. I could not do the deed because Sneha's love stopped my deceit. I can't give Mahesh's punishment to Sneha. But I have not forgiven Mahesh - he will pay, and I will make him pay." He leaves.

A broken heart

Sneha is staring out of the window in her room, remembering her moments with Omi. For once, I feel really sorry for her - what happened to her was something much worse than what could have happened - she lost faith in love, trust and relationships...again.

PRB watch their daughter with helplessness. "Baba ki Rani Hoon" plays as Rish tries to find words to comfort her. Prerna hugs her, and Sneha cries her heart out.

Devki has seen all this from a distance. She goes to Prem, and tells him that Sneha is in a helluva lot of pain. Prem says that he understands that a person can bear a broken heart once, but twice?

Aparna tells him not to worry (OK, I'm sorry, is it just me or is she not fooling anyone with this Sati Savitri crap?
Leapords never change their spots, right?)

She says that time will heal all. Prem apologises to her for his outburst in the office, and she helped save Sneha. Aparna says that Sneha is OK because of Mukti (remind me, didn't she call Mukti Devki in front of the oldies yesterday? So, either this woman is in on the secret and is a)OK to lie to Prem to save him, b)playing a huge game that no one could even contemplate OR...I've gone nuts )

Aparna says that he was right to scold her in the office, and she is ready to take any punishment for her sins. Prerna says, "Aparna". Oh dear God, this does not bode well...

Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me. Fool me the nth time, shame on my writers

Prerna tells Aparna that she has....................FORGIVEN HER! WHAT THE HECK IS WRONG WITH THIS WOMAN? WHEN WILL SHE LEARN? Answer me this - how the HELL can she forgive a woman who:

a) spent the better part of 30 years trying to kill them all
b) STOLE her son and raised him to take take revenge on Prerna
c) misled her own son into going against his upbringing

and all because she saved Sneha ONCE??? And at the same time, Prerna couldn't find it in her heart to "forgive" Devki for simply telling a little lie? This woman is freaking NUTS!! Would she forgive Komolika if she were in this situation? I bloody well think not!

Aparna thanks her, and makes to leave, CONVENIENTLY a second after she has gotten the green light from Prerna....Prerna asks where she will go, Prem asks whether she wants him to make arrangements for her. For a second I thought he was going to offer to let her stay at Bajaj House - there's a cosy family

Aparna says that she has gotten their forgiveness - that's all she needs. She leaves.

Mahesh makes a sheepish return (is it me or has Sanjit put on weight recently?). Rish asks him what punishment he thinks he deserves....Mahesh apologises. He says that he is (once again) Sneha's culprit, but he always tried to search for Nandini, he never found her. Prerna says that maybe he didn't deceive anyone, but he lied to them all about this, and that proved dangerous for so many people. Uh....excuse me miss, may I get a word in? OK, so Mahesh didn't tell you, but can you blame him? When have you people EVER let anyone get a word in edgeways? You make decisions about other peoples' lives w/o ever knowing the full truth - you did it in OS's case, you did it in Mahesh's case, in PM's case - always. So don't shift all the blame on Mahesh - if he is responsible, PRB are equally responsible...

Finally, Prerna admits that they also made a mistake, and she endeavours to fix that mistake. I can only think of one way that she wants to do that - and it involves a new inmate to the Bajaj Ashram yoinks....

Dost dost na raha, bhai bhai na raha...bandhar bandhar na raha....oops, scratch that last one - once a monkey, always a monkey

BB demands to know why Omi didn't do as expected. Omi tells him that Mahesh and PRB are responsible for their loss, not Sneha. BB disagrees; Omi tells him that Sneha is a nice girl. BB wonders whether Omi is in love with her. BB tells Omi that he would have been on the streets if his maasi hadn't helped him. Blah blah blah...basically, Omi and BB part ways, and not a minute too soon, IMO...now BB and vampanaita can go to hell.

Trust is hard to make but very easy to break...

I'm really not in the mood for Indro's crap, but in the midst of his antics, he sees Tommy, I mean Omi at a dhaba...Omi says that he spent his childhood on the streets, and when someone accepted him, he took that ehsaan as apnapan as mistake...ohh.....

Sneha decides to leave Mumbai for a while - she is sick of relationships and dhoka, and she needs to get away. Everyone tries to dissuade her but she leaves anyway...as he does, she steals a glance at her brother, who is in tears, and because of him, I am in tears

Two wrongs don't make a right, Prerna...

BB talks to his mom - he will take revenge on everyone. Yeah yeah, so we've heard...anyway, Prerna is at BB's door. Great, now she will bring that idiot into Bajaj House - what a bargain: lose a perfect daughter, gain a monkey...

The eppy wasn't that bad, in that FINALLY the OY crap has ended, and Omi didn't do the nasty, and BB and Omi split up, and Prem punched Omi, but my fave parts are the Omi-Prem fight in the beginning, and Prem's tearful goodbye to his sis in the end...watch it for that, if anything!
