I kind of get the feeling that their off-screen relationship is similar to that of Shahrukh and Kajol's off-screen relation. You know how Shahrukh thinks that Kajol is very simple, honest and childish and dotes over her protectively (remeber Koffee with Karan 1st interview, Shahrukh was like "I can't be mean to Kaajal" soo affectionately!)
Manonj has also said that Tina is very simple and honest and likes those qualities about her.

Very affectionate towards each other. I guess thats why both have amazing chemistry on-screen! 😉
