you know i think tina's pak serial is going to finish and this one is going to start...but iam not sure i think it be fri,saturday and sunday and i seriously dont know whats his name in the serial

Ekta Kapoor lashes out at the buzz doing the rounds that she checks her TV actors' kundalis before signing them on.

There has been buzz for the past few days that TV producer Ekta Kapoor has started checking her actors' kundalis to see if associating with them is in her best interests.

So, what does Ekta herself have to say about this?"In the last 12 years of television, if something like this existed it would have come to the fore much earlier. Tulsi, Parvati, Prerna, Kashish, now Gauri and Bani (all protagonists of her shows), if these actors said their kundalis were asked for, it would make sense. How come none of these were asked for their kundalis? Only one actor, who's played a side role in my show, was 'asked'. Maybe the actor just wanted to retaliate because he was removed from the show for his bad performance. In fact, I tried my best to keep him, but the writer and channel put their foot down and he was replaced."

The axed actor in question is Manoj Bidwai who is no longer doing one of her soaps. But how did this kundali buzz start?"A rumour starts with one person and then it's built upon by people who have nothing else to do," says Ekta, rather unfazed. But the fact is that she is looked upon as somebody who's spiritually inclined, probably that's why the rumour gained credence."My spirituality is a personal belief. It doesn't give anybody the right to make fun of it or even stand up and question it."

It's people's misconception that two people's kundalis should match for work, she says, adding,"It's only in marriage proposals or in a long-term deal. If I started checking kundalis of every actor that works with me, I'll slowly go mad!" So, when would Ekta Kapoor match her kundali?"For marriage, of course!"

Well, I still think it is wrong of Ekta to be so mean about him - its not that he was a bad actor, it's just that he was "too goodlooking to be a villain" 😆 😆 😆

i hope in cezzane' world it is quite soon...You know i feel sorry for Manoje nor in kzk or ksbkbt...Looks like he turned jobless now

but did she ssay that though from the looks of the article it seemed like she wanted to keep him but the head of teams were the ones that were against it

i also thought the same u know why just for him why his kundali was checked we never heard of the same thing happening to the lead chaarcters and its not like manoje had that big a role in either serial i mean in kasauti he was shown as mukti better half to be for only a couple of episodes at that

Bad performance? Trust me, I've seen worse, and Ekta usually keeps those people on. And I don't believe for a second that the "writers" put their foot down and he had to go - who's the boss? Ekta. Who is everyone scared of? Ekta. Who's word is law? Ekta. There must be something else that we don't know about...

I guess it could be a case of sour grapes - we don't really know what this Manoje is like....btw, do we pronounce his name "Manoj" or "Manojay"? 😆 😆
