I think that abortion should never be allowed. It is a sort of murder. Don't get me wrong. I am all for a woman's right to make a choice. but i think that a woman should think about this issue before she crosses the line. I mean one should be smart enough to not cross the line b/f marraige. If one does and gets pregnant, then why kill the poor child?

I think abortion should be allowed only in some circumstances, such as rape victims or danger to mother's life due to pregnancy.

As for kasak, i don't know. Even though i feel sorry for her, she should have thought about the consequences beforehand. She wasn't an inoccent child, you know.

i'm also against abortion, but in cases like Kasak i think she should be able abort the childe only if she wants to.

it is hard to live with status of unmarried mother in our (indian) culture. as being a woman why does she only have to be blame. it takes two to make babies. The father also should be responsible for his act.

Shravan and kasak didn't think but why should only Kasak and her family suffer. i think a woman is allowed or should annouce the father's name so he gets the same treatment.

I agree that it takes two to make babies. the father should also be blamed. but as you said in our indian culture it is the mother who gets all the blame. I am blaming women for getting pregnant b/f marraige. But i think women should think about these things more seriously before hand because if they do get pregnant they will have to take all the badnamee, not the men.

I know abortion is bad but its easy to say that but when u have to live in our culture and tolerate all the abuse then u relise that abortion was the best option.

Hmm...i think abortion should be allowed. I mean obviously people should take precautions so that it never gets to that stage. But for the sake of family planning, risk to health, rape cases and sometimes for the childs sake!..it should be allowed.

I think that its unfair to bring a child into the world, if it is not going to get the warmth and love of a house..so its more unkind to have that kid in such situations! and as for unmarried girls, they aren't mature enough to prevent the pregnancy, how can they be mature enough to bring up the child by themselves?

and totally agree that men have it easy!
