Also, to be a vegetable does not mean to not be able to think, it means they can't move or do anything let alone think about what they should be doing. You say that someone is a vegetable when they can't get out of bed, move or do anything that a normal person does. Prem is not a vegetable, he has just lost his sense of reason.

A CAT SCAN CAN DETERMINATE if a person cant think anymore...but thats only if that part of the brain has detereated.....but prems just in 'extream shock' its not like a bullet hit his head..and damaged that part of the brain....he's just tramatized.....

even i was laughing on a sad scene....
when doctor said that 'look at these xrays, prem ka dimagh eik jagah ruk gaya hai' then i thought, prem dimagh ruk gayaa hai, aur iss doctor ka dimagh chal gaya hai.... 😆
but my heart is crying for prem 😭

plus--and i think this is an exact quote, the doctor says "in medical terms, we say he is a vegetable"...i feel like those are quite 'medical terms'! 😊
