But just because someone loves a person does not mean he automatically deserves her.

Prem may love Mukti, and even Prerna may come to realize it. But it no way means that Mukti's happiness lies with her love... Prerna knows this more than anyone. Only after she went away from the love of her life, Anurag, could she gain 20 years of marital bliss and happiness with a man she eventually came to love.

I don't think Prerna was ever shown to be so cheap or sly as to use Prem or Mukti as pawns to gain Mr. Bajaj. She did not say she will fight against Prem for Mr.Bajaj because she is fighting against her son to "show what Mother India is," not to simply gain her husband back. Prerna thinks of Mukti as a daughter, and acted upon that belief when Mukti most needed it -- during the rape track. She will not cheat her daughter for her own happiness.

well, at first i kinda thought she was absolutely right in her point of view of getting kul and mukti married....she had every single right to keep prem away from mukti....but NOW, after hearing all those moving dialogues that prem delivered and the obvious truth in his words, i think prerna IS being a bit too harsh.
today, prem said things that he had never before admitted to anyone, including his guilt, faults, and finally, his love for mukti. he even went as far as to say that "pehle main mazaaq karta tha laikin aaj meri zindagi meray saath mazaaq kar rahi hai"....he accepted his defeat and the wrong he had done to mukti....
after listening to all of that, i was shocked that prerna wasn't moved at all.....it looked as though she was a couple of times, but she accepted prem's challenge.....the only reason i think she's being too brutal now is because of her callousness to prem today....she showed no signs of forgiveness, not even a little bit of sympathy or understanding.....
and besides, i think its a just too plain stupid of her to expect MUKTI HERSELF to come to her and say that she loves prem.....i think prerna should go and ask her herself.....i mean its common sense yaar, why would mukti come to her and tell her something that she's trying to hide at the moment? if prerna wanted, she could have made mukti talk and own to her love, but right now, it looks like, she's just not in the mood to even try! this whole prem-making-bajaj-leave business is making her blind to other important things.

Prerna simply wasn't moved because she believes Prem is Yudi, and Yudi is completely incapable of loving anyone. This is the same man that betrayed his parents, kicked his family out of its home, betrayed the woman who loved him madly and made fun of that love, and challenged a mother who could do anything for his love.

She says in today's eppy that she won't believe that Yudi is capable of love even if God himself stands witness to it. Little does Prernaknow that she is correct... Yudi is incapable, but not Prem. Her son is now Prem whether she and he like it or not.
