CEZZANE CAME CALLING
Dressed in black and white Cezzane Khan did what comes naturally to him, be himself and boy! he did that with quite aplomb. For his fans it was double whammy as he did make an appearance on Kuch Pal and Popkorn Weekend on the same day. But those of us who watched Popkorn( repeat telecast) it was better late than never and treat to see him without his usual somber expression, in place was a cheerful smile that was there through out the show. Also no excessive baggage, minus the jacket and suit he looked the Anurag of old Kasuti. So here we go.
Well for companionship he banks upon ANUJ SAXENA (who stars in Kussum), they are thick buddies, Cezzane made it a point to emphasize this bit; the nuggets of information he gave were too little but nevertheless gave us insight into the persona that he is off screen, it has been quite a while since his last interview.
He went on to add that the role that Anuj played in PARINEETA ( aired on Sahara ONE, but I have never watched) was initially offered to him, which he declined owing to date problems. Later when Anuj was offered the same role, he did not forget to call his pal before signing on the dotted lines. (That's what friends are for.)
He emphasized that he usually watches Kussum because of his buddy and when he came to know that Shilpa Saklani( GANGA OF Kyunki Saas Bhi-------------- don't watch this soap so dunno) has been roped in to play Kussum , he was quite happy for he keeps meeting her at the sets and knows her personally.
Furthermore despite possessing a gym at home, he does not find time to flex his muscles due to his hectic schedule but never forgets to complement SASHA ( CHETAN ??)on his good physique.
About the TV stars participating in fashion show, (Few TV stars had taken part in a fashion show for a designer doing Indian wear) he had word of praise for his friend Akash deep ( Ansh who was dressed in Shervani) and found KARISHMA TANNA quite sexy ( hope the use of word is permitted) on the ramp. (so Maraim now u know Cezzane's choice )
Later he revealed that little Sneha __ the period prior to the leap was all over the set of KZK as the stars of the unit played with her, the little girl could memorize long dialogues pretty fast.
Guys if U missed Cezzane's performance at the STAR Parivar award, it was basically he was unwell. Yet while watching the stars practice, he remembered when he too had practiced for the awards function, last year(or two years back?).
Memories also came back flooding about the award he got for BEST JODI ( with roothi Shweta Tiwari) from BIG B and he is a big fan of MR BACHCHAN and even Chota B. Like most of us he is dying to watch Bunty Aur Babli but could not spare time coz of his schedule( come on don't become a workaholic).
His comments on watching Monalika ( dunno her real name ) and Dolly ( Karishma Randehwa ) freaking out on all girls day out were, " Anuj when are u having dinner with me? let us find time and please Pop korn take us next time'. ( Popkorn has this section where they take out buddies for lunch.)
In all, a fun session, I hope we get to see him more.
PS: Those of U not clued on Pop KORN (aired on Zoom), it is a daily programme, hosted by regular anchors that concentrates on giving viewers inside info on happenings related to TV and Film people, but on Saturday the show is hosted by a TV Personality who wraps up the entire weeks episodes.
