This is a Ronit report from Anita aka Anjali from KA's bday party:)

Bappa moraya

Ronit Roy is a devout Ganpati follower. The actor sported a chunky gold Ganpati locket at the do. When quizzed about it he says, "You may call it as my way of following the dress code. But the fact remains that the lord has been kind to me."

While making an exit from the venue he was approached by an aged lady, who kept chanting, "Prerna ko saath nahi laye."

Mehul Vora is Ronit's martial arts (kick-boxing) coach:)

With the Prince of Calcutta joining the growing list of celebrities jumping into the kickboxing ring, this form of martial arts that evolved in the United States in the 1970s has become today's sport in town.

"This full-contact karate has become so popular in such a short span of time because it is effective and produces instant results. A three-month stint in kickboxing increases fitness level, raises stamina and improves reflexes and concentration," says Mehul Vohra from Mumbai.
Sourav Ganguly: In the ring

And Vohra should know, for he trained Akshay Kumar in Thai kickboxing for Seven Deadly Arts, a series on National Geographic Channel, and is training small-screen celebrities like Ronit Roy and GenX stars-in-waiting like Mahesh Bhatt's son Rahul and Shatrughan Sinha's son Luv.

I missed it! :( Just caught the last hug when they episode ends and the streamers are falling down gosh he was just SO happy when they won! He's just the best- I want to kill those Star people for making him cry on national television- they dont know how many hearts they broke!

:(

Read this:)

Ronit Roy
He plays: Mr Bajaj in Star daily Kasautii Zindagi Kay.
Reel-life situation: A sly entrepreneur Mr Bajaj forces Prerna to marry him as he threatened her that he'll take over Basu Publications.
Real-life reaction: I would never do such a ridiculous thing. Although he was on the look out for a perfect mother to his kids and reacts in that way as he finds Prerna suiting his bill, it is definitely not done.

I LOVE this interview:)

Laxmi Shah's take
By: Tushar Joshi
October 13, 2004

I watch a lot of Star Plus and Zee TV. My favourite shows are Kasauti Zindagi Kay, Des Mein Nikla Hoga Chand, Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii, and Sa Re Ga Ma. After finishing all the housework, I sit and watch these shows with my family.

Currently I am hooked on to Kasauti Zindagi Kay. I think it's a good show and has some good characters. I also enjoy watching Sa Re Ga Ma on Zee. I love listening to old Hindi songs, and some of the contestants on this show sing really well. I used to like Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, but now it has become very slow and boring.

My favourite character on television is Mr Bajaj (Ronit Roy) from Kasauti Zindagi Kay. Ronit Roy has done a great job of playing this businessman who sacrifices his love for someone else. His love for Prerna is shown very beautifully. Lalita Devi, in Kehta Hai Dil is hilarious — I watch that show just for her.

I don't like the way Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii and the Kyunki… stories are progressing. Both the shows need to come to an end soon. Tulsi in Kyunki... has become irritating. I think Ekta is trying too hard to keep these shows going.
