Chapter 21: Game Over
The next day Mukti and Aman returned to their home. When they entered the place they found that the whole family was in the main room.
Perna: Mukti, Aman, you guys are back? You should have stayed longer?
Aman: We were missing you guys.
Mukti and Aman gave out all the gifts and ate breakfast with the family.
Mukti: Chotima, Aman and I are going to visit Basu house. We bought gifts for them also.
Perna: Okay beta. Come back soon.
Mukti and Aman went to Basu house and when the whole family was indulged in opening presents, Anurag, Sam, Mukti, and Aman went into the study room.
Anurag: So what happened?
Aman: Uncle we found that lawyer and he is willing to testify against UD.
Sam: That's great.
Mukti: Uncle we need to show the proof to the judge immediately before Komolika or UD make that lawyer disappear...we've managed to get a private hearing in court tomorrow.
Sam: But Mahesh is out of country...he won't be able to make it back in time.
Aman: I know...I called Mahesh uncle before we left from Pancheshwar and found out that he's in America. However, my best friend--Shivum is in Mumbai and I asked him to fight this case.
Mukti: All you need to do is get everyone in court.
Anurag: Don't worry...I'll take care of that.
The next morning, Anurag called Perna and told her to be ready with the whole family. When he arrived there, Perna was pacing back and forth while Mr. Bajaj and his children were waiting tensely.
Perna: What's the matter Anurag.
Anurag: Perna, all of you have to come with me to court.
Perna: But why?
Anurag: You'll find out when you get there. Come on.
And so everyone followed Anurag to the court.
In the meantime, a few police officers barged into UD's house when he was having breakfast with Komolika and Debonnita.
Prem: What's the matter officer?
Officer: All three of you have been summoned to court right now. Come on.
Prem: But why...I'm not going anywhere without my lawyer.
Officer: He's already been notified...now come on...don't make me arrest you.

At last everyone arrived at the court and seated themselves. Except for Anurag and Sam, everyone else had a confused look on their face. The judge came in and the case began.
Judge: Mrs. Perna Bajaj where is your lawyer?
Perna gave a confused look and was sweating heavily when a young man in a lawyer's attire entered the room.
Man: I'm her lawyer, my name is Shivum Malhotra.
Judge: You may begin.
Shivum: Thank you...Your honor, five years ago Mr. UD alias Mr. Prem Perna Sharma took over the Bajaj empire by fraud and ruined the whole family.
UD's lawyer: I object...Mr. Prem has all the legal documents. He did not cheat anyone.
Mukti (enters): Yes he did.
Mukti goes to the witness box without any hesitation. That was the moment Prem realized that Mukti did not love him anymore, for if she did, she would never testify against him.
Mukti: Your honor...Mr. Prem is a fraud...for the past couple days my husband Mr. Aman Mehta and I were in Pancheshwar to find proof against Mr. Prem. These documents that I have with show that Mr. Prem took over the whole business through fraud. In addition, we have Mr. Sinha the lawyer who helped him.
Shivum: Your honor...I would like to ask Mr. Sinha a few questions.
Mr. Sinha admitted everything in front of the court. It was time for the judge to give out his verdict.
Judge: Based on the evidence provided it is clear that Mr. Prem illegally took over the Bajaj empire. Therefore, this court orders him to return everything to Mr. Bajaj and his family.
Upon hearing this decision, Perna and her family gave a huge sigh of relief and happiness. On the other hand, Komolika and Debonnita turned red with anger. Prem just sat there as if he was recovering from a shock.
Chapter 22: "Where you belong"
After the hearing, Perna, Mr. Bajaj, and the rest of the family thanked Mukti, Aman, and Shivum.
Perna: Thank you so much beta.
Aman: I'm your son...you don't say thank you. You just give orders...anyways, this wouldn't have been possible if my friend Shivum hadn't helped.
Mr. Bajaj: Thank you Shivum.
Shivum: It's okay sir, I'm glad that I got a chance to help my friend.
While the whole family rejoiced. Perna approached Komolika and Debonnita who were leaving in defeat.
Perna: I told you that one day I will get everything back...now do you understand that evil never wins...you took my son away, but God did justice by sending my two sons--Mukti and Aman. You lost again Komolika.
Komolika and Debonnita had no response. They just left with a hotter temper. Afterwards, Prem walked out of the court. He had no idea of his surroundings. His eyes were bent down. He snapped out when he found his mother standing in front of him.
Perna: Now you don't have money. This is the result of betrayal, Prem. You first betrayed Mukti's love and her trust. Look what happened, you lost that girl that could have made you happy. You betrayed me, your mother. Again, you lost everything. Don't worry, I'm not going to leave you on the streets. I'll give you back the company that I took away from you. Because of that company, you became a curse on my family. I'll send you the company's papers soon.
Prem showed no emotion. He just walked past Perna. Before he sat in his car, he turned around towards Mukti and Aman, who were receiving the love that was meant for the son of the family--him.
