Aparna- The better mom?

hey guyz this thot just occurred 2 me:

we always say prerna iz ideal mother and her Santa-Banta ie anu and rishabh r ideal fathers. but come to think of it- the children brought up by prerna r all screwed up. i m not counting vishakha becoz she was quite old when prerna became her mom. she seemz to be the most normal of bajaj's kids and it seemz she is the only 1 happily married and leading a normal life in america. also cant include prem(first one) because he passed away long ago.

1. tushar- married a 'tortoise' and hid that from his parents and caused them a lot of pain.

2. cookie- is quite rude to ppl and doesnt seem to be going anywhere in life-is unmarried though must be quite old

3. sneha- was unmarried and STILL in college with kasak and shravan though she is EIGHT yrs older to kasak 😆 found a sicko for husband and was quite mean to mukti during the entire rape scandal. needs ppl to look after her as she has tendency to get drunk and then kidnapped. runs to her parents for every small need. above all, is a BIG CRYBABY.

4. kasak- found the cruel shravan as first boyfriend, slept with him b4 marriage and then went thr' a lot of trouble. has disappeared in thin air after that.

5. Mukti- slept with prem b4 marriage and continues to love him even though he has done a lot of bad stuff like supporting her rapist. doesnt seem to hv much self-respect and is a BIG CRYBABY

Now lets look at shravan- brought up by anurag and sam

6. shravan- leads a completely screwed up life- gave maximum pain to the girl he once loved. also had a meaningless marriage with tanisha.

Now look at Prem- the one raised by Aparna: He has the BEST business aptitude and intelligence amongst them all.- must hv been taught very well as a kid and also provided good education. Aparna seemz to hv shown him all the right kind of movies while growing up- like Mother India, Sholay which he keeps referring to. knows how to get what he wants. doesnt keep crying all the time. has lots of friends everywhere. seems to be well-fed and well-treated as a kid. yes, he iz mean, selfish etc. etc. but that's just 1 part of his personality. otherwise he iz a fine kid!

Isn't it weird? That aparna seems to be the better and more practical mother than prerna?

i know she used him but that was only when she felt that he was going back to his real mom. and that prerna would hurt shravan if aparna didnt let go of prem. but for all the previous yrs, aparna seems to hv raised him quite well. it iz strange but it is TRUE.

Um, Vishaka isn't married. She has just disappeared. And if you use "That's just his personality" to excuse Prem and his misdemeanours, surely you can extend that excuse to the other kids? After all, it is just Kuki's personality that she is rude to people, and it is Sneha's personality to be a cry baby and Mukti's personality to keep loving and wanting to trust people no matter how much they hurt her..."that's his personality" is no excuse for Prem, or if it is, it should excuse everyone...

Also, Shravan wasn't cruel when he and Kasak fell in love - he has just been misguided by Komo and brainwashed by Aparna, as has Prem...

No. She's been using him all along - she just never voiced that out loud for him...what could she possibly want with Prerna and Anurag's kid except to get back at those two? She groomed Prem for her revenge...

hhmmm so if we say that all these young kids hv sm good n sm bad partz of personality, why do we still say prerna is ideal mom and aparna is bad mom? both r equal, and prem seems to be more practical and knows how to keep himself out of trouble which smthing well-taught to him by aparna.
also i feel that she cud hv done a lot of bad stuff to him had she really want revenge on anurag and prerna's kid, but it doesnt look like that. had prerna or anurag brought him up, he wud hv turned a wimp. in fact i m sure , the more time he spends with them, eventually he will turn into a wimp oscillating bet. mukti and debo -hving no mind of his own.

Now that much I agree with!! 😆 😆 I think Prem has learnt more "survival" skills and become more street-smart and life-smart. Whether or not that is Aparna's influence is debatable.

Sneha is a pampered princess and one cannot expect anything from her...Kasak is still a child, she is the youngest before Prem (and Mukti) and so she is given the liberty to learn from her mistakes. I would not say however that Kasak, Kuki, Vishaka or Tushar are "weak" or wimps - in fact, they seem to be the only kids who AREN'T so. Funny, they are also the only "biological" Bajaj kids 😉 ...

no way is aparna a better mom she was rasing prem as a hatyar agains the bajaja and basu family

no prerna is the best mom ever!!
