Episode#7

Prem and mukti are still walking silently.. prem breaks the disturbing silence..

P: I'm sorry about your dad basanti

M: (shocked at Prem) its okey… he died when I was small…but how would you have known...you just left for usa

P:( looks down) and I'm really sorry for that day

M: you know what prem? This "I'm sorry" thing doesn't suits you!

P: and being quite doesn't suits you BASANTI…

M: anyways… tum mujey batao ke usa kesa hai…wahan ke log kesey hain?

P: oh usa is just great…. Or wahan ke log are superb… especially girls…wow(dreamly)

M: (with a disgusted look on her face) you are so—

P: hot right? I know basanti… I'm too hot..

M: (looks away) stupid….

P: wesey basanti..tumhara koi boyfriend nahi hai?

M: nahi hai kiun? Tumhari koi girlfriend hai kiya?

P: I don't have a personal girlfriend basanti…I have a lot of girlfriends… and I know that karan sweeto guy is you boyfriend!

M: karan mera boyfriend nahi hai… we are just good friends… why can't people understand…

P: because that's not true…he really likes you… but basanti… ewww what a taste you got…yuck!
M: dekho UD! Karan sirf ik hi larki ko pyar arta hai and that is shrdha!

P: kiya???????? Wo shrdha sey pyar karta hai????(happy that he got a way to stay away from shrdha)

M: tum itna khush kiya horey ho… kiya tum shrdha sey pyar nahi kartey…

P: dekho basanti… prem kisi sey pyar nahi karta because I know ke pyar mey you cry a lot… I don't give importance to feelings or emotions…I just like gurls… I don't love them…

M: lekin ager tumhey kisi sey waki mey pyar hojae ya ager koi tumsey sacha pyar karey to?

Both prem and mukti are quite for a moment…they stare in to each other eyes……then prem speaks…

P: look basanti…jo hona nahi hai oskey barey mey baat karney ka koi faida nahi…you know what I mean…I can't love girls…

M: to tum larkiyon ko sirf istamal kartey ho UD! (angry)

P: look meney ye to nahi kahan… god you take everything so negatively…urgh!

M: you know what prem… just be quite…

P: you are the one who should be quite and I don't want to be with a person who takes everything in a wrong way…

M: fine! Mujey bi tumharey saat nahi rehna ! abb mey jari houn apney rastey or tum jao apney rastey..

P: cool with me ! (they both go to different paths)

Prem doesn't seem to care and is walking in the woods while mukti is really scared and trying to find a way out…. Suddenly heavy winds blew her hair and it starts to get cold…mukti start to shiver with cold and walks faster… just then the thunder starts and it stares to rain heavily…mukti is really cold and is all wet she walks faster when suddenly she sees a hut and makes her way to it…

She enters the old hut is all-dark except for the place where the fire was burning and sees that there are some yellow grasses on the ground… she have a feeling that there is another person in hut…

M: ko-koi hai yahan per?

Suddenly someone says: BOO! From behind which leaves her all jumped and makes her fall to the ground and the old yellow grasses get stuck to her wet clothes…she realizes that it's prem..

M: tum! (gets up and is trying to move the grasses from her clothes)

P:( laughing hard) oh my god basanti… tum to waki mey dargayi thin or tumhara face to dehkney layek tha hahaha

Mukti gets angry at Prem and goes to him and just as she about to say something…thunder starts which she gets scared of and quikly hugs prem…prem who is dumbfounded stands still….then mukti quikly moves back..

M: s-sorry who mujey thunder sey bohut dar lagtha hai na to—aaa-aaa-chooo--- i-I have cold..s-so..—aa-aaaa-chooo-…

P: mukti tum to bohut thandi hori ho… come here(he puts his jacket around her makes her sit next to the fire with makes her feel better)

M: th-thanks…

prem lies down on one of the grasses and starts to drink his brandy..

m: tumhey sharam nahi ati ke ik larki ke sa- samney tum brandy pe rahey ho..(Disgusted)

p: nahito..tumhey ati hai.. wesey mukti..have some it will make you feel better(mukti makes a very disgusted face at Prem)…oh I forgot..tum indian larkis don't drink this(he continues to drink his brandy and falls asleep)

mukti is so cold and sees the brandy and takes it. she looks at prem who is sound asleep . she drink it even though she don't want to…but it somehow makes her feel warmer than before. she then gets all drunk and start to do all weird stuff which wakes up prem and he is shocked to see mukti like this…

prem: what the hell… (he looks for his brandy but then sees that mukti has it in her hand…he run after her)

prem: ba-basanti lao.. ye mujey do…

mukti: (shakes her head like a kid) tumey ye chiye na… to lo…

mukti goes outside and it's raining heavily and mukti start to throw prem's brandy all over the wet ground…prem who didn't wanted to get wet sees this from the hut and can't take it anymore…

prem:( holds his head with his hands) urgh! Today I'll kill this basanti…(he goes outside and towards mukti)

mukti: prem…tum? Tum kab aye? Dheko menei kiya kiya…

prem: just shut up or under chalo…you even wet my jaket… I'll get you for this mukti!

Mukti gets angry: tum mujey kiun datrey ho? Meney kiya kiya…tumhi ney to bola ta ke brandy pio or ab datrey ho…(she kinda start feeling dizzy)

Prem: just shut up …. Tumey pata nahi tum kiya bolri ho…just come inside…

Mukti: nahi… mey nahi ari… tum jao… mujey neened ari hai…mujey sona hai and she kinds of start feeling a lot dizzy and faints…just as she was about to fall on the ground, prem olds her…he kind of have a weird feeling but then he picks up mukti in his arms…

Prem: what have I done?!

He places mukti on the yellow grasses next to the fire…and removes the wet jacket from her… and for a second or two he can't take his eyes away from her…he observes her wet face and her wet hair that were all over her face…he then comes back to his senses

Prem: hope she is all right…(he knew that mukti was all right cuz she was just fainted because she drank to much brandy…)

Prem smiles at mukti and sleeps as far as he could from her…

Next morning:

Mukti gets up first and sees prem sleeping on the other side…her head starts to hurt…she wanted to know what had happened between him and mukti…she gets some flashbacks of when she hugged prem and prem made her sit to the fire and the she got all drunk and after that she couldn't remember anything…later on prem wakes up…

Prem: good morning basanti…(he stretches his hands up in the air…)

Mukti: p-prem… kal raat yahan kiya howa tha??

Prem: kiun…kal raat bohut wo hua jo nahi hona chiye tha basanti…

Mukti: prem saaf saaf batao kall kiya howa tha (she have tears in her eyes)

Prem: come on basanti… kiya tumey kuch yaad nahi? How how can you forget everything that you did to me!

Mukti gets all worried and says: kal-kal meney kuch nahi kiya that and I know I'm right (she starts to cry)

Prem who was just joking laughs at mukti and says

Prem: arey basanti mey to ye khera tha ke kal raat tumey meri pori brandi pheck diti or phir tum khud yahan per ayi or sogayin…that's it basanti…
Mukti: kiya?( clears her tears from her wet face) kiya tum sach kherahey ho prem?

Prem: han han mukti mey sach kherahah houn or abhi to sirf ye ik mazak tha…

Mukti starts to hit prem and says: ainda mujsey esa mazak maat kerna or ager kiya to mey tumhari piyari mother India ko bata doungi…phir esey hastey rhena…

Prem: what?! Mother India? No way!!!

Mukti: I think abb hamey yahan sey chalna chiye…she goes outside and starts walking… prem too starts to go after her but then stops… he turns around and sees his jacket on the round… he smile to himself and picks up the jacket …

Prem to himself: ager meney osey ye bata diya hota key wo yahan khud nahi ayi thi balkey mey osey otha ke lekey aya tha to then wo to mujey abhi mardeti ….(he laughs and catches up with mukti…)

Both prem and mukti finally find the road and take a lift from someone… it took them only an our to reach goa…when they got there mukti saw Sneha and sharad coming out of the hotel together…as Sneha saw mukti, she ran up to her…Prem on the hand was flirting with some girls and sharad joined him…mukti could tell that Sneha had this excitement on her face…

Sneha: wo..kal..kal raat mey or shrarad… I mean sharad and me….oh what am I saying???

Mukti: just relax sneha…abb batao ke kiya huwa?

Sneha: oh my god muktikal sharad ney mujsey kahan ke wo mujsey bohut bohut pyar karta hai!!!

Mukti: kiya??(who knew that sharad liked Sneha acted as if she didn't knew anything) phir?

Sneha: phir…meyto behosh honey wali thi or phir meney bhi khediya kemey osey bohut piyar karti houn…

Mukti: you what Sneha? Ajj mujey bohut khusihori haike tum or sharad ik hogaye…I wonder mujey merapyar kab miley ga….

Sneha: forget about you mukti! I just can't wait for graduating and then I'll mama that I want to get married to sharad…or please merey ik favor karogi?

Mukti: kiya? Terey liye to kuch bhi yaar…

Sneha?: bas bahi ko ye sab ke v=barey me pata nahi chalney dena okey…plz…

Mukti: of course mey Prem ko is sab ke barey mey nahi pata chal nay dongi..

Sneha: oh thank you thank you mukti!!!(and she hugs mukti)
