Looks like parents in the city have put away all baby name books to search for a suitable name for their new-born. With small screen characters their source of inspiration, parents are now borrowing names for their kids from on-screen characters.
So there's a profusion of babies called Mukti, Saloni, Mili and Kavyya in the city - thanks to the popularity of the same characters on TV.
Bharti Lamba who recently named her one-month-old daughter Mukti after the name of Tina Parekh's character in Kasauti Zindagi Kay says, "Mukti is among my favourite characters.
