hey, yeah, i watch saarthi...its basically about two stepbrothers and their families...its kinda like the story of the mahabharata...one family is essentially good and the other is evil (there are exceptions of course) and they all live together according to the head of the family, i.e. Dadaji's will...the main characters are Arjun (representing Arjuna from Mahabharata), his wife and childhood friend Bhoomika (aka Bhoomi, and he calls her Bhavri), Arjun's sister-in-law Manasvi(whose husband Satya died), Mansen Goenka (the evil brother), his family Yuvraj (kinda like duryodhan) and Yuv's wife Shefali (who used to be evil but has recently turned good) these three women--Bhoomi, Manasvi and Shefali represent three shades of Draupadi...the best thing about saarthi is the appearance of Lord Krishna (or LK as he is known on Saarthi forums)...no one in the show can see him, but the audience can and he sort of teaches us about mythology and he also has some very funny scenes...its a great show and quite diff to Ekta's serials...although often there are similar storylines, but they are handled with less drama!! its on Mon-Thurs at 2.30pm on Star Plus...check it out
