Kapoor says, "I was playing a significant role in Kasautii but opted out after six months. Later, Ekta offered me this character. I can't reveal too much about the show. All i can say is that I am playing a character called Sam. The show has a college campus as its backdrop and my character will have the audience in splits when I come on screen."
How is it to be part of the show? "Ekta screen-tested me found me fit for the character. I am more than excited to be part of another Balaji show."
As for his stint on Kasautii, he says, "Kasautii was a dream debut for me. I played Anurag's adopted son in the show. My character varied from the romantic to negative. And now with Krimson Skies, I will be playing a comic character. In fact, I was also nominated at the Star Parivaar Awards for Kasautii. It was a big high for me to be nominated for my first show itself."
Other than TV, Kapoor keeps himself busy with theatre. Talking about his work on stage, he says, "I have been doing theatre for the last five years. I love being on stage and find it extremely satisfying."
Kapoor will begin shooting for the show from the coming week. The serial will be aired from march onwards on Star One.
