Prerna goes to her room's window in order to close it when she sees a figure standing in the dark outside in her garden. Prerna is very scared. The figure in the dark comes ahead but is not visible. The woman speaks while twirling a strand of her around her finger- "Hello Prerna, I am back" and then she says the same thing in Bengali (Evidently enough, it is Komolika). The figure approaches the window and Prerna grows more and more scared. Suddenly, the phone rings and Prerna is scared out of her wits. Prerna turns around and runs towards the phone. She picks it up and talks nervously.
It's Anurag at the other side of the phone and he tells her to stay inside. Prerna asks him what is happening. Anurag tells her that somebody is attempting to kill her. Prerna is shocked and asks Anurag what the matter is and after all, who it is who's trying to kill her. Anurag tells her that he cant reveal it on phone and tells her to wait as he'll be there in a couple of minutes. Prerna hears a noise from behind her and drops the phone. Anurag is shocked and speeds up the car. Prerna turns around to see the same figure behind her. Prerna is scared and runs out of the house. She starts running on the road and Anurag's car bumps into her.
Prem,Mukti,Sneha and Sharad are having a great dinner with great food. Sharad asks Prem if he wants anything else. Prem asks for a beer. Mukti is put off and comments that Prem and his beer are bestest friends and they just cant do without each other. All of them have a hearty laugh and Prem tells Mukti not to start a fight. Mukti and Prem argue with each other when Sneha stops them and tells Mukti that she has not yet thanked Prem. Mukti smiles at Prem and tells him that she has never had a chance to thank him and this is the pefect time.Mukti thanks Prem. Prem starts talking with Sharad and Sneha and they have a great time. All the time Mukti is looking at Prem and falling in love with him.
Sam controls Prerna while Anurag and Indro check up the house but it's empty. Prerna tells him to tell her what's happening. Anurag tells her that Komo had been discharged from the mental asylum a month ago and now Aparna and Komolika are on a mission to destroy them together. Prerna is totally shocked and tells Anurag that she cares only for her kids and that nothing should happen to them.Prem and Mukti come home and listen to all this. Prem is angry and goes outside. Mukti follows him and asks him what he's upto. Prem tells her that he's going to meet Aparna and five her a final warning as to not cause any harm to his family because he is fed up of her silly gimmicks.Mukti tells him not to go but Prem tells her not to interfere.
Mukti tells him that he will also accompany him. Prem agrees. Both of them reach Aparna's house where Aparna is busy provoking Shravan against Anurag. Prem reaches there and yells on Aparna that he is fed up of her and she has never seen a woman so disgusting and cheap as her. Shravan is furious and tells him not to speak against Aparna. Prem gets more angry and tells Shravan that he should not interefere at all as he was not with Aparna all these years. Shravan hits back at him and calls Prem a backbiter for siding up with the Bajajs as soon as he got a chance to. Prem tells him that THEY are the real traitors. Prem and Shravan get into a scuffle but Aparna and Mukti hold them back. Prem warns them coldly and leaves.
Mukti yells on Prem and asks him what's wrong with him. Mukti tells him that he just cannot barge in Aparna's house and fight with her.Mukti tells him that each situation has a different way of handling. Prem tells her that he will not tolerate anything against his mom. Mukti is surprised and tells Prem that she's very happy that he stood up for his mom. They leave. En route, Prem puts on loud music. Mukti doesnt like it and changes the CD and puts on a slow romantic number. Prem is initially miffed but tells her that it isnt a bad song afterall. Prem and Mukti get two coconuts to drink from.
It's morning time. Prerna is at the Ashram. Anurag and Sam come there. Sam tells Prerna that Prem has really done a great thing for this Ashram and he hsa totally transformed the whole place. A few paces away, Prem is playing with small kids and having a ball. The manager tells him that Prem comes here daily in his lunch break for two hours and plays with a kid in which all of them enjoy. All three of them are happy. Anurag puts roses at Prem's grave. Prerna tells Anurag that Prem has brought back everything to their life and now she feels that nothing is missing in their life. Prerna then grows sad and remembers the dead Prem. Anurag tells her that they can never be able to forget their dead son. Anurag is consoling Prerna. Sam is frustrated with Anurag's behaviour and leaves. Anurag tells Prerna to move on and concentrate on her present and not her past.
Indro spots Aparna in a hotel and follows her to a room where she's talking to a woman. Indro listens to her by the door. The waiter spots him and in all the ruckus, Aparna comes out of her room and is furious to see him. Indro runs away. Aparna swears she'll get hold of him.
Precap- Aparna's goons run after Indro and injure him. After all that, a car comes and hits Indro hard and he flies.

KZK update for 31 January-
Indro runs away from the spot and reaches the hotel lobby.He catches his breath and immediately calls Anurag and tells him the location of the hotel and tells him to come over soon. Anurag, Prerna and Sam are shocked to hear him so scared and rush to the hotel. Aparna swears to kill off Indro and stop his nonsense. She calls some of his goons and sends them behind Indro. The goons run behind Indro. At a point, they catch hold of him and manage to injure him, but just a little. Indro keeps on running away from them.
Anurag ,Prerna and Sam reach the hotel lobby. They search for Indro but he's nowhere to be found. They go to the upper floor but Indro is not to be found over there as well. Anurag grows tense and wonders what Indro must have wanted to tell him. They search for him again but he's still not to be found. Anurag calls up the inspector and tells him that they need his soon ASAP. The inspector tells them not to worry and he will be there quickly.
Indro runs to the parking lot and hides beneath a car. The goons come in a car.They all get out and search for him but cant find him. They see Anu-Sam-Prerna coming out of the hotel and sit back in the car. It so happens that Indro hides beneath Anurag's car. Anurag switches on the car and leaves. Indro is shocked. He calls out for Anurag but they cant listen. The goons catch hold of Indro and one of the man stabs him in the stomach with a knife. Indro stumbles and calls out for help. A car rushes to hit him. It's Aparna inside the car. Aparna swears that this is going to be the last day of Indro's life. She strikes Indro with all her force.Indro falls down. Aparna turns back and speeds the car in order to run it over Indro and kill him. Anurag hears Indro scream and he also turns back. A car comes and blocks Aparna's car and saves Indro. Aparna is frustrated as she sees the person. It's Prem who saves Indro. He looks at Aparna. She damns him and leaves in her car. Indro gets out and runs to Indro.
He calls out for help. Just then, Anurag, Prerna and Sam come in their car. They are shocked to see Indro in such a condition. Anurag asks Indro to tell him what he called him here for. Indro tries telling him but he faints. They all rush him to the hospital. At the hospital, the police inspector also comes to interrogate all of them. Prerna tells him that Indro had called them over to the hotel to tell them something but he got hurt in the process. The Inspector doubts Prem and asks him what he was doing over there. Prem tells him that he was passing from there and managed to save Indro. The Inspector asks him whether he saw the person who tried to kill Indro. Prem knows it's Aparna but he does not tell it to the inspector.
The Doc comes out and tells them that Indro is now fine. He's critical but he can talk to all of them and they can record his statement. They all go in. Anurag asks him what happened and asks him to tell the name of the person who tried to kill him. Indro lifts his finger and points it to Prem. Prerna and Anurag are totally shocked. Indro's hand falls down and he's knocked out. The doc tells them that Indro has gone into coma. They all are totally shocked.
Shravan is discussing the entire thing with Apatna and tells her that there was absolutely no need to take such a rash step and asks her what she would have done if Indro'd died! Aparna makes her intentions clear and tells Shravan that she had always intended to kill him. Shravan is frustrated and tells her that Indro is not dead and if he tells anything to the police they can be in big time trouble. A voice booms telling them that the police will come only when they record a statement. It's Prem!!
Prem walks over to them with a smile on the face. Prem tells Aparna that the Police will take action only when they get a statement from Indro. Prem tells her not to worry as Indro has been taken care of and is now in coma, so now, she will have absolutely no problems. He also tells her that he has not told the police that it was indeed her who had tried running the car over Indro and who sent the goons.Prem acts in a very suspicious manner and it seems that he's sided up with Aparna again. Prem continues and tells Aparna that he has always maintained that she is a very frustrated woman. She kept him close to her for 20 years and when he was in need of her, she kicked him out. Prem reminds her that seh tried to use him against his own parents. Prem tells her that she will now have to face him in this duel against his parents. Prem threatens to kill off Aparna if she caused any harm to her family. Shravan tried to cool him down but Prem stopped him and left. Aparna was shocked.
Anurag and family are in the hospital and they all are very worried. Anurag meets the doctor and tells him not to worry about the money but to take excellent care of Indro as he's very important for finding out the truth.The Doc assures him timely reports.Mohini consoles Anurag and tells him not to worry as everythng will be alright.Anurag is still worried.
Prerna is sitting at home,upset. She thinks about Indro pointing his finger at Prem before passing into coma and she is really upset. Jeevan comes there and hands over a packet to Prerna. Jeevan tells her that he found the packet outside the house. Prerna tells Jeevan to send Mukti in. Jeevan tells her that Mukti has gone to her Aunt's place for a few days as she is not well. Jeevan leaves. Prerna puts on the cassete and she is shocked to see it. She immediately calls Anurag over.
A storm is brewing outside as Anurag comes to meet Prerna. Prerna leads him to the TV and shows him the content of the tape. It shows the suspicious behaviour of Prem and him with Aparna and Sharavn telling them that he has not revealed their crime to anyone. It's an edited tape showing Prem hugging Aparna. Both Anurag and Prerna are shell shocked!

KZK update for 1 Feb-
Prerna shows Anurag the contents of the tape and they both are very hurt by seeing Prem hugging Aparna and telling her that he's not told anyone that she was behind all this. Anurag is furious. Prerna breaks into tears and tells Anurag that Prem has completely let down and she has lost today. Anurag is too angry. He turns to Prerna and tells her that it is not her loss, it is 'their' loss, it is not only her feelings which UD has killed, but he has betrayed his whole family and his father also. He was never good Prerna, he was always fooling us. We were naive enough to beleive on his false intentions and take him for granted.
Anurag turns to Prerna and goes towards her.He grabs her hand and tells her to come somewhere. Prerna asks him where they are going. Anurag tells him that it is high time they broke their silence. Anurag tells her that they have been forgiving Prem all the time but they will fight back this time around. Prerna is in tears as they leave for some place.
Prem is sitting in a pub, drinking.His friends are partying and ask him to join in. Prem tells them that he is no mood for party. His friends leave him alone. Suddenly the lights in the disco go off. Prem leaves his drink half-way and is leaving the place when the bartender switches on something on the plasma screen on the wall. Everyone is shocked to see it and everyone instantly recognises Prem. They are showing the same footage of Prem going to Aparna and hugging him. Prem is shocked to see all this and yells out asking who is palying all this. He turns around to see Anurag and Prerna.
Prem is shocked to see them and tells them that what they are thinking is totally wrong and asks them to listen out to him and beleive him. Anurag is too angry to listen and asks Prem if he'd really gone to Aparna's house. Prem hesitantly agrees.Anurag slaps him right away. Prem tries to tell him something but Anurag tells him to shut up. Anurag tells him that a person goes to the house of only that person with whom he has some relation and Prem would never have gone there if he cared a bit for their feelings. Prem tells them that they are wrong and he has done nothing wrong. Anurag slaps him again and Prem is pushed back with the force. Anurag tells him that today he has really hurt them and caused both of them immense pain.Prem turns to Prerna and calls out for her- "Ma.." Prerna warns him and tells him never to call her his mother again because it seems all too fake. Prerna tells him that he's caused her more pain than all the 20 years she waited for him.
Prerna tells him that from today, he is not her son and he's not Prem Prerna Sharma anymore. Prerna tells him that from now on, he does not mean anything to her. Prem keeps on telling her that he has not done anything wrong but Prerna does not beleive him. Prerna and Anurag leave and Prem is left whining. Prem shouts back at them telling them that he has not done anything.
Prerna and Anurag go to the poilce station and tell the Police that it was Aparna and UD behind all this. They hand over the tape to the Inspector and leave. The Inspector goes to the pub and they take Prem to the Police station. Anurag and Prerna watch as they take Prem away. Prerna cries again.
Anurag goes home and tells the whole family what happened and all of them are shell-shocked. Prerna also returns home. She goes to Prem's room and she is reminded of happy moments with Prem. She looks into the mirror and she imagines Prem laughing at her and making fun of her. She takes his baseball stick and breaks the mirror and goes on to break everything in the room until Birju comes and stops her.
Prerna starts walking on the road and breaks down, sitting on the road. Aparna comes and tells her that Prem was fooling them all the while and now she has lost everything. Prerna cries. Aparna goes away.

KZK update for 2 February-
Prem is taken inside a cell in the jail and he is being interrogated by the Inspector and his constable. The constable asks him to tell them everything about Aparna and her wherabouts. Prem remains quiet.The Inspector tells Prem that he should be ashamed of his behaviour and asks him why he did not think of his parents even once before doing such a heinous act. Prem is hurt by this statement of his and still remains quiet.He remembers all the time he spent with Prerna and how he was really happy with her. The constable tells him that they will have to hit him to get the information they want. The Inspector stops him and calls Anurag. The Inspector tells Anurag that they have interrogate Prem a lot but they cannot resort to violence as Prem remains his son. Anurag tells the Inspector that Prem is no longer his son and he can take any methoed he wants to get information from Prem.
Mohini hears all this and is sad. She goes to Anurag. He has tears in his eyes. Mohini and Anurag hug. At the police station, the inspector starts hitting Prem and slapping him, telling him continuously to reveal everything about Aparna. Prem still doesn't utter a word and remembers the time when Amurag yelled on him and told him that he has been UD throughout. Prem does not tell anything to the inpector. Prerna is still walking on the road, upset. A sad song plays on Anurag, Prerna and Prem.
Anurag is standing at his window when Subroto comes and tells him that Indro has come back to his self. Anurag is happy and tells him that he will go immediately with Prerna to the hospital. He leaves for the Bajaj house.
Prerna retruns home and stands alone- sad and upset. Suddenly a voice booms from behind her. It's Rishabh!!! (Woooohoooo!!!) Rishabh looks at her happily and tells her that this time he is very upset with her. Rishabh tells her that she knows that she's too happy as she has got Prem but that does not mean that she'll not call him a single day on his whole trip. Rishabh tells her that this is the first time she didn't talk to him when he went for such a long trip. Prerna starts crying and runs to him and hugs him. Rishabh is surprised by her reaction and tells her that he was just joking. Rishabh realizes that Prerna is crying. Rishabh is concerned and asks her what happened. Prerna tells him all that happened. Rishabh is shocked and puts on the tape. He sees the part when Prem hugs Aparna. Rishabh sees something fishy in the whole thing and plays the thing again and again. Rishabh is about to say something to Prerna when Anurag comes in. He's surprised to see Rishabh and tells him that it's good that he came back. Rishabh tells Anurag that he has come to know everything from Prerna. All three of them leave for the hospital.
At the police station, the police is still interrogating Prem, but in vain. The Inspector comes to know that Aparna herself has come to the police station. The police immediately arrest her. Aparna warns them and tells them that they will not be able to keep her in for long because they need proof against her from Indro. The police also reach the hospital.
At the hospital, Prerna, Rishabh, Anurag and the police are recording Indro's statement. Indro tells them all that Aparna was not the one behind the attacks on him but they were some goons which he did not know of. Anurag is furious and demands and explanation from Indro to tell him why he's lying. Indro tells them all that he is not lying. Indro tells him that the car was too fast and he really does not know who was behind all these attacks. Anurag is really pissed off. Indro gets unwell and faints. The Doc comes and tells them not to stress Indro like this or they can land into trouble. Anurag and Prerna leave. Rishabh stays back and calls up a detective and assigns some work to him. After all of them leave, Indro recalls how Aparna has come into his ward the night before and had told him that if he wanted to live, he should keep his mouth shut otherwise- he will pay with his life. Indro is really worried.
Inside jail, Prem turns around to find Aparna inside his cell. Prem is shocked and asks Aparna what she wants and why she is after him. Prem asks her to leave her alone. Aparna tries to instigate him against Anurag and Prerna but he tells her to shut up. Aparna again tells Prem the numerous incidents when Anurag and Prerna have forgiven their kids but not him .Aparna tells him that Anurag-Prerna never loved him and always wanted to get rid of him. Aparna tells him that she still repents the day she shouted on him and he left her. Aparna assures him that she will never leave him again. Aparna tells him again and again on how Anurag-Prerna could not trust him and how much they claimed to love him. Finally, Aparna tells Prem that it is all because he is an illicit kid and nothing else. Prem is instigated and very angry. That's it!

KZK update for 3 February-
Shravan comes to jail with his lawyer. He walks up to the Inspector and reminds him that they have already taken Indronil's statement which has been of no help of them. Shravan tells them to free Aparna and Prem as they have no proof against her. The lawyer tells him that since there is no proof, no case is formed against Aparna and thus she cannot be put in police remand for no rhyme or reason. The Inspector is dejected and he asks the constable to free both of them.
Aparna and Prem are freed.Prem goes towards the door and waits.Aparna goes to the Inspector and gives him a wicked smile.Aparna reminds him that she'd already told him that she would not have to stay inside for long. Aparna laughs and bids him goodbye.Prem looks on disgruntled.She starts walking and calls UD to come behind her. UD hesitantly follows her out of the police station.
