KZK update for December 27-
The wedding rituals are on and Sneha and Sharad are doing em. Anurag is back to his office and viewing everything from his tv. The priest tells them that the next ritual- the Kanyadaan (literally meaning- giving away of the daughter) requires the presence of the bride's father. Everyone looks for Rishu but he's not there. Rishu and Prerna enter after a while. Gupta goes to Rishabh and asks him where he was and everyone was asking for him. He ushers Rishu to the wedding pandal and Rishu performs the ritual. Prerna looks on emotionally. Mohini is sad and wonders where Anurag is!
The rituals are complete and Sneha and Sharad get up for the 7 rounds around the holy fire, known as the "phere". Sharad fills Sneha's hair partition with sindoor and they take the rounds around the fire. All the guests shower them with flower petals. Rishu looks at Prerna all the time, but never with a tear in his eyes. He looks at her lovingly, yet sadly. Prerna, also showering the couple with petals in unaware of Rishu's gaze and she looks at him and gets tears in her eyes..she shifts her sight elsewhere.
Indro fools around with a girl and she flirts with him for a chance. Indro follows the girl and thanks God for giving him a chance with a girl atlast after 20 long years.
Rishu goes to his room. All the material for the wedding- the jewellery etc is kept there. Rishu takes the photo of him and Prerna in his hand when Prerna had promised to be on his side forever. He looks at the mangtika he had lovingly made her wear. Just then,Prerna and Mukti come there searching for something, Mukti gets it and leaves...Prerna looks at Rishu and he too leaves sadly. Prerna looks at her all treasured belonging and a sad love song plays on her.
After the rounds are over, the couple go to Rishu and Prerna and seek their blessings. Anurag who is watching it all, blesses the couple from his heart. After the wedding, Sharad and Sneha are sitting together and Sneha is very sad. Sharad asks her why she's sad even before the "bidaai" (Bidaai means sending off for the bride-a very emotional moment for the bride's family) Sharad mocks at her and asks her if she's rehearsing for the "bidaai". Sneha doesnt respond to his joke and is lost in her own world. Sharad is concernced. Rishu is watching all this and looks on determinedly to do something.
Rishu takes Sneha to Anurag's office where he is seeing the thing on television. Anurag is shocked to see them there. Sneha goes and hugs Anurag. Anurag tells Rishu that he should not have brought her here and it will be big trouble if someone else comes to know. Anurag tells him that he will be indebted to him forever. PRerna also comes there secretly and watches everything. Rishu wipes his tears and tells Anurag that it was not a favour and he HAD to get Sneha here to get her father's blessings without which a wedding is incomplete. Sneha gets Anurag's blessings and Rishu and Sneha leaves. As they go down the stairs, Anurag listens a car zoom by. He rushes and finds out that it was Prerna. He smiles to himself.
Rishu gets Sneha back to the wedding .Shailendra and Kamini ask him where they were. Rishu tells them that he'd taken Sneha for some blessings.Sneha and Rishu smile and go away. Kamini smiles.
Sharad asks Rishu which God he'd taken Sneha to- now that she's so happy..Sharad plans to take Sneha to the same God whenevre she's angry. Rishu smirks at him and laughs.
Food is being served to the guests in traditional style where the people from the bride's family have to serve too. Mukti and Vishaka are serving food when Prem lurks nearby. Mukti hands him a container and tells him to serve too, as it is his sister's wedding. A woman asks for dal. Mukti eggs Prem to serve dal but he disagrees and tells the old woman not to bug him. Vishaka is about to serve dal when she says that she wants the dal from Prem only. Prem is bugged and leaves. The lady winks at Mukti and Vishaka and they have a hearty laugh.
Rishu is standing in his room and he turns his face to see that Prerna is also there, almost in tears-
Rishu (with his back to her)- I know what you have come here for..you want to tell me that you will leave after Sneha's wedding. I know that.Just tell me where you want to go and I will make all arrangements for your stay and convenience. Beleive it or not Prerna- Life will not be the same when you will be gone. You will leave this house but my emotions and feelings for you will remain untouched...I know I have erred and please try to forgive me for that..I just want to tell you Prerna- I will always be waiting for the moment when you will return to me....
Prerna is about to cry and break down when Prem interferes and reminds Prerna that Rishu has betrayed her and she should never forgive him and all that rubbish. Prem tells her that he's ready to leave and will pack his bags. He leaves and Prerna is sad.
