Anjali: I think you need to get some rest. We have to go shopping early tomorrow.
Where possible don't think about Anurag bhai, he's not returned yet. When he comes back, then talk to him, see where you both stand, its every much possible he may feel differently about you.
Shweta: Yeah, maybe your right. Anywayz, good night.
Anjali: You too.
Anjali goes to her room and closes Shweta's room door on her way out. Shweta then goes to sleep.
Next morning, all are at the dining table having breakfast.
Mohini: Akshat, you and Rajeev take Shweta, Anjali, Shalini and Kashish for shopping and get some of your shopping done to. Shalini you make sure Akshat buys some new outfits.
Suman: Kashish, you too make sure Rajeev gets some new clothes.
Akshat and Rajeev: What is this mum, we don't need new clothes and anywayz, if we did we would have bought them ourselves.
Shalini: Akshat, why are you lying? I looked in your wardrobe, you badly need new clothes.
Kashish: Same goes for you Rajeev, any excuse for you to get out from going shopping. You know they used to do the same thing in london.
Rajeev: Yes, yes just use that against us.
Akshat: You both only ever wanted to go shopping.
Abhinav: Stop arguing. Its final, you're all going shopping.
In the shopping mall, Akshat and Rajeev are standing on one side watching Shweta, Anjali, Shalini and Kashish choosing different sarees for themselves.
Shweta and Anjali are also looking at lengars (skirt/blouses), and trouser suits. They finish buying some sarees, trouser suits and churida's.
Shalini and Kashish to Akshat and Rajeev: Time for you clothes to be chosen.
They go into the mens section and choose some suits to be worn to the office,
and then some casual clothes and some Sherwani's. While Akshat and Rajeev are paying for all the items, Shalini, Kashish, Shweta and Anjali are looking are other clothes.
Just then Aryan is having a look at some Sherwani's. Anjali notices him so she goes over to talk to him.
Anjali: You, here? Hi, how r u?
Aryan: I'm good. I'm just looking to buy one or two new Sherwani's. My sister Gauri, if you remember her, shes returning in approximately a month and well her engagement is going to take place.
Anjali: Oh ok, congrats. Who's the guy?
Aryan: Karan.
Anjali is shell-shocked.
Anjali: But i thought he liked Shweta.
Aryan: He does but he was his dad's last wish to see Karan and Gauri married, so for that reason Karan promised he'd marry Gauri.
Anjali: Oh ok. I don't know what to say, its really come off as a shock.
Anywayz, i have to go, don't want to keep my brother waiting, as it he didn't want to come shopping. Oh, its both mine and Shweta's brothers reception at 7.30, Sea Cliff Hotel, definitely come and bring Karan.
Aryan: Yeah, i'll try.
They all reach home and get ready for the reception. Shweta helps Shalini get ready and Anjali helps Kashish get ready.
They reach the hall and greet the guests. Aryan and Karan come and go to Shweta and Anjali and congratulate them.
Shweta to Karan: I heard your engagement is fixed, congrats.
Karan: Thanks.
The evening goes by, some jokes are cracked and a band is playing songs selected by the guests.
Towards the end of the evening Anjali's 21st birthday is celebrated, her parents gift her a sports bmw, Rajeev and Kashish gift her a simple pendant set and so do Akshat and Shalini. Last gift is from Shweta which is a friendship pendant (heart shaped).
Anjali: Wheres the other half of the pendant.
Shweta: With me, so however, far we go from each other after we get married, we'll always have something to remember each other by.
The next month is shown fly by with Anjali and Shweta studying hard for their final exams.
Simultaneously, Anurag is studying hard for his final exams in london.
Finally, the day the results are due to come out and all are shown opening the envelopes.
Shweta and Anjali see their results and are extremely pleased to have passed.
They are with Karan who has also passed.
There in london Anurag is with Gauri (one of his closest friends) looking at his result, Gauri is also seeing her results and are ecstatic to have passed and be leaving for India in a couple of days.
